Best thing about bringin Norton in as Banner is he FREAKIN' LOVES THE HULK! I saw him speak at Comic-con last fall and the guy knows his gamma! He even did a rewrite on the script to bring it more true to the Marvel original, combining the feel of the "loner" from the series... This movie is going to ROCK!

Nobody in that movie, belonged in that movie!!

I'm suppose to think that this guy is a scrawny geekie scientist?

Ed Norton is the best pick ever.

How are you gonna pick the picture of bana from troy to prove your point. I can do the same here.

While i think norton will do an awesome job (maybe even better than bana, but i'll wait till the movie comes out), he definitely doesn't look like a scrawny geeky scientist here either. I always thoguht Bana did a really good too. He didn't look the way he did in troy for the hulk movie, so not a fair comparison

edward norton lost so much weight for his FIGHT CLUB roll, the same thing for this movie, find some stills of him in shirt and tie in fight club and how scrawny he was and its perfect.

posting pics from american history x is dumb cause hes JACKED in that movie and did tons of working out for it. Fight club he just had to lose weight.

read hes whole post. its obvious that he was talking to a guy who posted a pic of bana from troy where he was big.

Did you even read my post? Read the whole thing smart guy, including the line before the pictures, and the last line.

If Edward Norton says "Your not going to like me when I'm angry" It looks like it might say as though it be like Truman Capote saying it....

If this movie is not done right! at the end I will scream "NOPE STILL NOT RIGHT BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARDS".

Sounds like Annie Wilkes talking about Rocketman: "HE DIDN'T GET OUT OF THE COCK-A-DOODIE CAR!"

I am completely in the dark on what we are talking about here....but it still made me laugh. :woot:

Is it me, or did Edward Norton just sounded....flat.

I mean, I know its a teaser, but I got Bruce Wayne as a troubled and angry man in the Batman Begins Teaser.

To me, Banner was a wary troubled character and I just do not get that from Norton.

Which pisses me off because this is the man that did the amazing highly troubled Fight Club character and I thought replicating that would just been easy enough.

I still need more to do a full judgment, but right now I am not feeling it at all.

Bana-trashing is lame: Bana was awesome in Hulk. You may noticed that, miraculously, this does not stop me from expecting Norton to be awesome, too.

agreed.
that's exactly how I feel. Bana's performance is better, so far.
we have to actually see Norton in the movie but Bana sounded more convincing.

One problem I had with Bana's Banner was the monotone delivery of lines.
Seems that carried forward with Norton.

But I guess it makes sense, because Banner does everything he can to keep his heart rate down, so he necessarily has to keep passion at bay...

It just comes off as a bit cold. But he is such a great actor, and I'm judging one little scene.

I beleive Ang Lee told Bana to do the monotone thing, to show how emotionally distant Bruce Banner was.

Heh, picture this. If Norton's character was Banner in FC, he would've been the hulk through out the entire movie. Keeping his excitement/stress levels down is crucial for someone wanting not to hulk out and I think Norton thus far has done a good job at show casing this.

I don't know, I wasn't terribly impressed with the trailer or Norton. There is something strange about him...I guess we'll see when the movie comes out.

im extremly happy with Norton being in it, he is an amazing actor, especially in American History X

what's odd to me about the new trailer is the tone of Norton's voice.

In the 2003 Hulk, I found Bana's delivery to be too muted and monotone. Now with the new trailer, Norton is using a very similar delivery for Banner. Why can't they show a little more emotion for the poor guy. Hopefully with Norton it's just for that one scene and he gets to show a bit more emotional range for the rest of the movie. I understand that he has to try to remain "calm", but that doesn't necessarily equate to "flat".

You know, maybe i'm reading into this too much, but Norton doesn't seem to convey any sort of sadness, anguish, that's he's the Hulk. All his delivery's in the trailer were in a tone like "Yeah, i'm the Hulk". I got no sense of urgency. It's like he's trying to cure a cold, not the most destructive force on earth.
