Iron Man 2 Edward Norton / Bruce Banner / Hulk Cameo

I don't remember the post...but didn't the effects supervisor all but confirm a Hulk appearance a few months back on his twitter account?

At most, I'm expecting a mention of Hulk or Abomination for Fury.

Tony Stark and Nick Fury are walking in SHIELD's HQ, the Triskelion. Tony, having accepted to join the Avengers Initiative, asks Fury what the team is supposed to do once the other members are brought in. Fury leads Tony to a intel room full of SHIELD analysts searching for clues in computers, newspaper and magazine clippings of recent "Bigfoot" sightings on the walls, a gamma radiation tracking radar (With tree boogeys :awesome:) and, in the center, a cellphone picture of a victorious Hulk standing over Abomination's body in New York. Fury points to him. "Capture him", he says. Stark stares for a moment, smirks and says "I'm gonna need a bigger armor". Cut to black.

That wouldn't make sense, since by the end of TIH Stark is already aware how big Hulk is and that he may assist Ross in capturing Banner.

I like Anorexic's idea coupled with Raiden's.

Iron Man 2 is set before The Incredible Hulk. In IM2, Tony is still not interested in joining the Avengers Initiative, which he is alredy a part of in TIH.

Well, he'll join by the end of Iron Man 2. That's for sure.

Correct. The timeline is Iron Man - Iron Man 2 - The Incredible Hulk.

Correct. It's Captain America: The First Avenger - Iron Man - Iron Man 2 - The Incredible Hulk - Thor - The Avengers.

NOT BY ME... Thought it was a nice outline though
It is pretty obvious to everyone now that "The Avengers" is being turned into a film adaption and before that happens the members of the team are getting films based on them to set them up for "The Avengers."

As im sure everyone is aware of as well, is that the lead up films are "Iron Man", "The Incredible Hulk", "Iron Man 2", "Thor", and "The First Avenger: Captain America".

Now, a big topic of conversation is sometimes what exact order they all are in before "The Avengers" takes place. Not the order of release of the films, but the chronological order of the stories leading up to "The Avengers." Here's what I think:

1. The First Avenger: Captain America - Obviously Cap's big screen adaption would happen first since the story takes place in 1942 and we all know that the others dont come until much later. The only thing from the Cap film that will take place right before "The Avengers" is the ending.

2. Iron Man - This would be the obvious next chapter considering Nick Fury creates "The Avenger Initiative" in this.

3. Iron Man 2 - Iron Man 2 takes place only 6 months after the first film, and we all know The Incredible Hulk does not happen before or after the two Iron Man films.

4. Thor - Thor would seem to make most sense to happen right after Iron Man 2, just generally because it just does.

5. The Incredible Hulk - Because Tony Stark apparently says no to "The Avenger Initiative" in Iron Man 2, but is all the sudden forming it in The Incredible Hulk definantly gives away the fact that Hulk MUST take place after Iron Man 2, and it has been stated that the ending of The Incredible Hulk with Bruce Banner meditating into The Hulk, is meant to lead right into The Avengers. Some even say it may be revealed that Loki is controlling him in that scene which would make it seem like The Incredible Hulk is, in fact, the final lead up film.

6. The Avengers!

What do you guys think?

^ if thats true that means
Iron Man wins in IM2 :hehe:

the whole 'iron man 2 happens before The Incredible Hulk' thing is, like, 'confirmed' now:

Before. RT @ThiagoSiQueiraF: Just watched "The Incredible Hulk" Gotta ask you:Does "Iron Man 2" takes place before or after Hulk movie?

Shame that there was no Norton/Banner/Hulk appearance after all. I know there was the news report to further tie these films together, and I do appreciate that, but something a bit more substantial would've been cool.

Yea turns out the only ref is a tv screen showing the TIH battle scene.. and even that is hard to catch...

I think Marvel may have gotten a little too crossover happy for their own good. Re-digging a scene from TIH? We aren't all idiots Marvel... obviously not everyone saw TIH but I am sure most are aware of it by now.

What do you mean?

Meaning we don't need a dozen fan nods in every film. A couple should suffice. Maybe it's just me finding something to complain about, but I think they may have overdid it a little in IM2.

I'll just be happy when they finally confirm Hulk to be in THOR!!!!!

There is a reference to Hulk in Thor, but he ain't showing up... unless it's an after credit or late addition lead in to something bigger and better.

I was wishing for a Hulk cameo but it would of messed up the pacing. It's not like you can have Hulk sitting with Fury in some after credits thing. I don't think Norton will jump into a easter egg scene without knowing the entire picture so that cameo was pretty impossible.

As for the after credits scene in Thor I think it will be Stark with mention of Captain America. Probably will be Stark and Fury meeting Thor for the first time.

Its called marketing and its working, what better way to hype up a movie that isnt even in the filming stages then to hint it in every Marvel film that has anything to do with the said film? It's working too, we are all getting excited for it and we are all talking about it, just look at your sig lol

jump on the hype machine and enjoy the fact that before the film is even promoted you understand all the nods and crossovers that have been sneakily inserted into these films before the big one comes out
