Iron Man 2 Edward Norton / Bruce Banner / Hulk Cameo

Yah a cameo for Norton would be nice. What would be even nicer is if TIH got a freakin sequel. The movie did fairly well, and everyone I know either liked it a pretty good bit,or absolutely loved it.

Ditto. I think there'll be a sequel after the Avengers, so more people will be interested in Hulk.

Yeah I don't think that we will actaully get o see the "Big Green Guy" in this movie. I feel like, from a director's point of view, that it might take away from the film.

I think that they will either have mentions of a Green sighting in Canada in the news or something.

Or that they will briefly show Ed Norton walking by.

I hope we get Norton, but I wouldnt mind a quick 10 sec shot of the Hulk on a rampage on the news or something, would be so awesome.

If we get Norton then it confirms that he and Marvel have no problems with each other and that he will be in The Avengers.

But he definitely knows something because with his "no comment" response in an interview how he said that Marvel like to keep a pretty tight reign on news and he will let them say it. Norton knows something and it could be this appearance in Iron Man 2!

Could be the next Jackson as fury cameo for all I know.

Your avatar could very well be Norton's reaction to this thread. lol

Thats a pretty good idea, some cool media shots of Hulk .. maybe Thor doing something as well.

Ya - If we see Hulk in an capacity, it may be a news report of him - something really short that the FX team wouldn't have to work that hard on... If anything... it will be Norton

Please keep giving dialogs with suggestions, some are hilarious.

If you mean me then no, I wasn't. My post was a week or so before Comic-Con. A few things as my final word on the matter:

1. It's not a post-credits cameo.
2. Most of the first scene featuring Hulk has been dropped. The second Hulk scene will be left untouched as far as I'm aware.
3. Edward Norton arrives in the second act and has a scene with two main characters.
4. I'm not the source for the nukethefridge story or any of the other ones.
5. For those of you interested Norton (in person) and Leterrier (via teleconference) recently supervised a new edit of 'The Incredible Hulk' that will be released for the home market in the near future.

I'm no longer involved in the production having already completed my work on the film. I'm amazed that the Hulk news wasn't revealed at Comic-Con as a lot of us felt sure it was going to be.

That's really all I can say and I'm sure you'll be hearing news through the official channels shortly. Peace.
Okay, now I don't know if I believe you.

edit:
Just going by the reports. Redd said she saw no sign of Hulk. The newbie said he'd show up in the second half. I tend to believe the former. Would I be shocked if Hulk had a significant sequence toward the second happen? Probably not, but I'd be suprised. I just think it would be a little overkill having WM/IM/Hulk in there, unless WM gets decommissioned before that sequence. I know nothing about the details and the scale of the final battle and I'll try to keep it that way as long as possible. I'm sure the final trailer will reveal something anyways.
Second act.
I'm sorry guys, but a CG Hulk in the movie... It would not flow with the final fight scene and with the plot line of the story.

The final fight has a little bit of meaning to it. Just like the first movie, every shot had a purpose and a meaning to the rest of the film. I don't see how the HULK could fit in with the story line that they are going with.

I think that they are going to save the Hulk for the Avengers movie.
Nobody said he'd be at the end, just the speculators, doesn't mean Hulk's not in it at all. It's kind of annoying when you seem to act like you know everything about it because you were an extra at the beginning and end.

Given Norton's latest comments, I'm willing to give this rumor the benefit of the doubt.

If Hulk himself shows, I bet it's footage from TIH, where he's fighting Abomination, and we see it in a news report. Fury says to Stark at the end of the movie that they could use someone like Hulk, and maybe Thunderbolt Ross can help find him, thus leading to the last scene of TIH.

If this cameo is true, I don't think we have words from Marvel Studios until the IM2 release.

I'd rather be somewhat surprised... I mean - I wouldn't mind knowing that it WILL happen, but I'd rather not know when it will happen

Exactly, just have Tony flicking through the channels while having some down time, and he stays on a new channel about footage of a Hulk rampage for about 10 seconds.

Yeah, something like this would be so cool.

Or have him briefly whipping up specs for the humvee with the soundwave blaster on top.

He's another grain of salt. Thanks to Hulk_Smashing at Hulkspace for the heads up.

Wow, this is quite interesting. Just a few days ago he was listed only as "rumored". I think this is a good sign. And if it is true, this is fantastic for Marvel and all the fans in regard to the relationship between Norton and Marvel.

Lovin' it.

On another note, I would like to think that Norton knows how much the fans want him back as Banner

Id love for him to come back.

I also think he knows more than he is letting on, just keeping us on our toes.

If we get some cameros Id like some to be a suprise.

I was concerned we wouldn't see Banner again and they'd given up on Norton and and possibly the Hulk franchise.

It's amazing how quickly this concern was transitioned to just the opposite in regards to recent news and hints.

As long as the scene is something along the lines of this, I think we can safely say we are set... :woot:
