Has there been any word on another patch/update? I'd really like to get some bugs fixed!

^^ what bugs are you experiencing now?

Btw...i just finished the civil war quest again, this time i heard something i've missed the first time around. I sided with the empire and after a hairy battle on Windhelm, we finally faced Ulfric face to face.

So, long story short, Tulius killed him, then i heard the following exchange between Rikke and Tulius that i've obviouly missed the first time around ( this is only the 2nd time i've done this quest btw)

Rikke : Talos be with you
Tulius: what's that, legate?
Rikke: Nothing...just saying goodbye

I really like that.it's a simple exchange, but it's adds alot to the Rikke character whom i've previously thought just an imperial drone.

Just the same Companions/Commander Mora bug that I was whining about earlier haha! :D I've been running around clearing out random dungeons and picking quests that look interesting from the list for now, but I really want to do the Companions storyline.

I remember that little to-do between Rikke and Tulius, it's funny how Bethesda put little things like that in here and there but overall seemed to drop the ball when it comes to making characters with any depth. Even Fallout 3's characters were more interesting than the Skyrim ones and as a result feels like a big step backwards. I mean, I don't expect every single follower available to have a fetch quest and a life story to tell, but it'd be nice if more than 3 of them did. Either that or have less followers with better stories.

I definitely agree with you there. That's one bit of Skyrim that's kind of dissapointing for me. I like followers...and like having them around, and like you say, even though the followers on FO3 doesn't really have much depth, at least all of them has distinct personalities.

I just wish that they have some kind of backstories.Only Sydney has any kind of backstory and she's not even a real companion!( that's why she's my fav FO3 companion)

That's why i reeeaally love the companions on FO;NV! Just great characterizations all around! Fantastic dialoques! from Cass sarcasm...Veronica's sense of humor to Boone gloomy attitude! Also loves the fact that all of them got an interesting backstories.

Just wish that Skyrim would also have some of those elements when it comes to companions. It seems that they were just focusing on the technical aspects of them...like them being able to pick a lock, sit, sleep etc.

Oh well...

Another thing I think they really missed out on, and I'm definitely not the first to mention it, is under water content. They have tons of underwater areas in Skyrim, especially in the far north of the map (I really like it there) but the most interesting thing you'll find is sea weed. I love the ship wrecks, but maybe some completely submerged ones or even some caves would be pretty awesome.

I could definitely see them doing an underwater race too, like some Atlantis type deal. Or even a cult of Argonians who have gone underwater to shut themselves off from the surface world. It has a ton of potential.

I was always afraid there'd be some big ass monster in the lakes around Skyrim. I was both relieved and disappointed there wasn't.

Seriously! I was wandering around the far north today and it really *feels* like something is lurking in those waters. I'd love some giant beasty to burst up out of the sea, at least something more terrifying than a friggin' Slaughterfish.

Speaking of Slaughterfish, I saw one come out on to land the other day. Persistent little bugger made it a good 6ft before the lack of water made him stop chasing me. Maybe I witnessed the first evolutionary step of Slaughterfish!

Another missed opportunity i think is the Vigilance of Stendarr....

I mean, c'mon!...a vigilante group hunting demons? how could you not do anything worthwhile with them?!? no major quests? no option to join them?

As cool as that is, it seems like it'd be a b**** to get up and running.

Yeah, I thought they'd at least have the Vigilants start attacking you if you collected a few Daedric weapons/artifacts, similar to how people you steal from send assassins after you. But no, you just see them marching around in the wilderness for no reason.

It's really not that bad. I messed around with it when they originally put that out.

I wonder if they'll release Morrowind for free on the 20th anniversary? I kind of doubt it.

That seems unlikely. Morrowind is still a pretty commercially viable game, if you can excuse (or mod) the graphics.

Today on Steam we've released a new beta update that gives you a first
look at what's we'll be bringing to PS3, 360, and PC in the
forthcoming 1.5 update.

In addition to a number of new bug fixes, we're now using title
updates as an opportunity to add new features to the game. Included
in this update, players will be able to enjoy all-new kill cameras,
including ones specific to ranged combat and magic.

Sound familar? That's probably because they had a cameo in the Game
Jam video [1] shown during Todd Howard's DICE keynoteTodd Howard
presented at DICE.

Hmmm:yay:

Sounds awesome. Hope they bring more of those elements from the Jam video into the game.

I've never played Daggerfall. I'm downloading it now to give it a whirl.

Just maxed this out. Took forever, but worth it

I get this game on the 22nd.

has anyone had this problem befor on the ps3 game, when i start the game and everything i go to continue game then after the loading screen stays there forever amd when i click on the middle ps3 button the whole game freezes ?

So...i've finally decided to give Mjoll the lioness a try. So far, i'm impressed!

Not only is she a capable fighter, but it's actually her chatty behaviour what really won me over! ( hates 'silent'companions)

Would LOVE to be able to bring Janessa the merc AND Mjoll at the same time, coz they're both chatty, but it looks like it's not gonna be possible, even on PC.

I did a few times. Just remember to never hit "Continue", always select "Load" and use the save you want.
