Elder Scrolls V - Part 7

Well...I had a very interesting Skyrim experience. I basically decided to play through Namira's little sidequest to get her ring and even pissed her off a bit when I chose the mocking reply so I guess I have a Daedric Prince who wants to kill me now. Well since Namira was being such a nasty immortal you know what I decided that I'd help improve the Ebony Blade by carving up all the cannibals meeting at Namira's feast. Skyrim...what a great game to let out your frustrations with.

Still on the PS3. I bought a Wii U this year with my tax money because of Monster Hunter. Next year I'll be getting a decent gaming PC though.

I love the Daedric quests, save for the fact that i usually have to do something evil, i mean im the damn Dragonborn, i should be able to say hey 'f**k you, im taking your s**t regardless.'

I have to say, i don't get any real satisfaction from killing Miraak. I kinda symphatize with the guy.
During the fight, he told the dragonborn;'you know...Hermeus Mora is laughing at us right this moment!'...and it's true.

Miraak in my opinion is the lesser of two evils.

It's a shame that he's only had brief moments in Dragonborn. Would love to see the character fleshed out more. LOVE his arrogance...especially his reaction if you've already killed Alduin prior to meeting him, which is more or less; 'Meh...big deal...i could've done it myself too...'

The quests for Meridia and Azura weren't so bad. But for the rest, I head cannoned that my Dragonborn was secretly getting close to the Deadra to destroy them all.

Sheogorath and Malacath quests weren't really that evil either.

Mehrunes Dagon, I don't think I did that but after Oblivion, the quest should have been killing that ****** again.

Yea i did the same in the few i did. I cant remember which ones i completed, i think i did the one where you had to trap that dude in the house? And then maybe one more? I know i have one quest active now where i need to lead someone to be sacrificed. Wish i could find some thief or other unsavory individual to lead to that shrine.

Ah yes, House of Horrors. I didn't have much love lost for that one. The guy you beat to death is just a Deadra worshipper, so I shed no tears. The mission with Mehrunes Dagon is one I also said "**** you Deadra *****" and defied him. Good place to kinda farm Deadra hearts if you opt not to kill the guy Dagon commands you to.

If you can, restart that Boethia quest you're doing, I know that one. For a more dramatic effect, I killed all of Boethia's followers at her shrine. She gets pissed off and appears out of nowhere to talk to you. The mission won't fail. But I enjoyed pissing her off. As for sacrificing someone, I used a common mercenary, no one I had a connection to. There's a mercenary mage in Riverwood.

Of all the Daedra quests in this game, the most enjoyable for me is the Hermeus Mora/black books quests in Dragonborn.

The design on that place is so damn well done; the moving hallways, moving stairways etc...finding your way around that place is chalenging.I remember one place where you'll die if you stand too long on the shadowy parts.Took me awhile to figure out what's going on.

In the Mehrunes Dagon questline before I kill the guy I always yell out "That was for your ancestors assassinating Emperor Patrick Stewert!!!"

So I've been wondering who is, economically speaking, the best spouse?

He's no Nolan North or John Kassir, that's for sure. But for a mod, voiced by non-professionals, it's decent.

Alright, the game Is bugging on me again and I have a few questions. I tried to buy the Falkreath land, but could never talk to the Jarl. With the console, I tried to reset the relationship rank with the Jarl, and then the regular conversation options finally popped up. Guess I must have done something to piss him off before. Anyway, I managed to buy the land, but the game keeps crashing every couple minutes when I stay on my land. Probably a script problem. Now to my question, do I have to become the Thane of Falkreath first, before I can buy the land? Because I talked to the Stewart before helping any of the people of Falkreath, and she sold me the land immediately.

Not quite a Skyrim post but an Elder Scrolls one in general, Oblivion to be exact. I have come to the realization that the Prophet is the worst cartographer ever. I am currently searching for all the Wayshrines of the Nine divines and his "map" isn't much help. :p

It's been awhile since I played Skyrim. If you have Hearthfire and this is the land you're referring to, I can't offer specific help (don't have it). But you need to do favors before becoming Thane. More information here.

If the game keeps crashing, I can only recommend reloading your prior save.

I have to admit when looking for a spouse I went with looks, not money, and married Vorstag of Markarth. He just looks so hot in that shirtless fur bandit armor.

*sigh* Whenever I manage to fix something, there'll be another problem taking its place. Right now, I can't travel anywhere without the game crashing within a couple seconds. Tried to play with my MOD Loadout, didn't help either. Thought maybe I just wait 24 hours in-game, crashes too. And when I manage to wait 24 hours, it crashes whenever I try to save afterwards. I know the best solution would probably be to just start new, but I'm already level 43. And before this character, I already restarted the game like a dozen times.

Let's hope an earlier save can save my playthrough.

Your mods are probably mucking with it. Can you uninstall all of them and then try?

I fear it's a deep rooted problem, that might have slowly been caused several hundred saves ago. I already uninstalled all recently installed MODs and went back to an old save, and the game still crashed after fast traveling or waiting. It's something that can only be solved by starting fresh.

Right now, I'm trying not to give up hope and try to play the game without fast traveling. The game crashed only a few times. When it crashed during a save, I just reloaded that save, and the game worked fine. Even tried to save immediately again and it still worked. I obviously don't know what the issue is, but I hope I can work my way past it, without fast traveling, and who knows, maybe it'll eventually sort itself out.

Alright, looks like the problem sorted itself out, just like I hoped. But as I have said, once I fix a problem, there'll be another taking its place. Right now, for whatever reason, I get attacked by Thalmor Justiciars and the Vigils of Stendarr. And I can't recall having attacked either faction.

And again, fixed one issue, another one arises. Now for some reason I can't sit down or use any workbenches. My character initiates the animation, sits down or works for 1 second, then gets back up.
