I'm surprised no one has made a thread for this.

Yeah it's billed as a movie that is one continuous shot. The movie is actually a remake of a Uruguayan film with the same name that came out just over a year ago.

Yeah, I was watching the preview and thinking, "Huh? Didn't I see this movie advertised like, a year ago?" Then I realized it was a remake. I think I'm going to watch the original first. The whole "one take" thing is the real draw for me so I might as well see how original did it first.

I'm actually going to do the opposite, if the original is better (which usually is when there's US remakes) I'll save it for later.

That is shot in one-take is something they really are pushing with the advertising but other than that though, there isn't so much going for this and it seems to be like the standard horror we're getting nowadays. I’d probably watch this just for Olsen, since she had impressed me in MMMM.

LOL, they should have just called that movie MMMM. Then if they ever made a sequel, it could be called MMMM MMMM!

Is Elizabeth Olsen the sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley?

It's easy to confuse the names at first but I like it, it's catchy. And she's a way better actress than her older twin sisters combined, if I'd have a say she should have gotten an Academy Award nomination.

Before the partying and hanging out with the wrong people the twins were attractive.

I really wanna see this movie. If nothing more to just see how you film something like this in one continuous take.

I saw the original and it was good.

The atmosphere was very creepy and claustrophobic. Most of the movie is dark with like one or two sources of light and for me was a little disorienting. One of the reveals near the end was pretty disgusting.

Its been awhile but I think it was one long take as advertised.

It's getting some good reviews.

Practically a master class in how to tell a spooky-house story.

By minute 75 of this 86 minute film I actually muttered, "that's it" and put my hands over my eyes.

The type of horror film that will build a substantial unscalable wall between those who love it and those who hate it, although even the latter group should be able to appreciate it for the incredible craft at work.

The cleverly and handsomely achieved gimmick compensates for troublesome motivation and suspension of disbelief issues to make this a genuinely fresh treat for horror fans.

Exclusive Video: A Clip from Silent House
http://www.shocktillyoudrop.com/news/165829-exclusive-video-a-clip-from-silent-house

March 9th sees the release of Silent House, a new thriller starring Elizabeth Olsen that she shot shortly after wrapping principal photography on Martha Marcy May Marlene. We have an exclusive clip to share inside which finds Olsen's character, Sarah, getting spooked with a classic scare effect.

Directed by Chris Kentis and Laura Lau - the team behind Open Water - the film is a remake of La Casa Muda and concerns a young woman who joins her father and uncle at a summer home to clean the place up. This endeavor descends into a night of terror for Sarah as strange noises and a mysterious figure begin to haunt her.

The film is inspired by a true story -
an unsolved murder case that happened in a village in Uruguay in which three bodies were discovered mutilated.

in this clip in the beginning the camera moves very fast. this is the easiest way to stitch two clips together.

if this movie was done in the 80's and beginning of the 90's i would go crazy(positive) because i know that back then they couldnt use digital technology. today this is piece of cake.

i still will watch the movie. Elizabeth was fantastic in Martha Marcy Marlene. if oscars would be fair she would be nominated and would win.

Saw the trailer attached to The Grey, looks very interesting. I'll be seeing it.

Elizabeth is very beautiful and talented. I'm interested in seeing this as well.

They weren't butt ugly but I never really found them to be all that cute. Their younger sister in this movie looks better than they ever did.

Yeah, I just watched it over the weekend and I totally agree... Elizabeth was outstanding and it's lame that she got ignored.

I've never seen Elizabeth in anything but going by the trailer for this, she sure is good at acting scared and screaming.

I'm sure she'll do a good job. She's got a killer body too. Doubt we'll see much of it in this, but it's always refreshing when a hot new actress doesn't have a no-nudity clause.

you need to watch Martha Marcy Marlene. some actors with oscars are not as good as her. 10/10.
