Given Uma Thurman's atrocious roles in Batman and Avengers, I do hope the X-Men franchise steer clear of her. She is hammy and has very limited talent. Like so many people cast into sci-fi, they obviously don't buy into the material and so they end up taking the piss out of it and coming across as cheesy and talentless.
