I think the idea of a Gambit spin-off with Emma Frost heavily involved is intriguing, since I've always liked how their characters bounce off each other in the comics.
I think I might start a script soon.

i dont think is a good idea, seeing how people that is not envolved with the comic dont know who they are.

yea but they really have nothing to do with eachother, it would be kinda weird, id rather they both be on the team with the rest than just them two, and if they were involved that would be even more odd

Not a great idea. Both were not in the films, nor are they from similiar backrounds/stories. He's from the streets of New Orleans and shes from the high society/Hellfire Club. Two different worlds.

It's like having the Magneto movie with Iceman as a large role.

Or having a Shadowcat spinoff with Cyclops integrated.

Some characters work together (i.e. Xavier/Magneto, Gambit/Rogue, Phoenix/Cyclops), but you can't just make these duos at random.

Well I thought it was an interesting idea... obviously not.
Well, I'm still going to write a script, just without Emma in.

So really you just want a Gambit movie. :p
Huh huh, even though he's better as a supporting act... stealing the show, Han Solo style.

Why do you think he's better as a supporting act?

I do actually think Gambit would be a winner with the general audience in the same way that Wolverine was. As with Wolverine, a lot of the hardcore X-Men fans have turned on him, but he will be endearing to the general audience.

Because he serves better as a supporting character, although some of his solo stuff is pretty good; the first mini 4 issue series, the first series and Wolverine Gambit Victims.

tim deegan for gambit and charlize theron for emma i really want both actually
