Synopsis:

AT WHAT COST – Batwoman (Ruby Rose) and Luke (Camrus Johnson) are on the trail of a villain targeting social media mavens. Sophie (Meagan Tandy) gets an unexpected visit from her mother, and Mary (Nicole Kang) offers her expertise to assist Kate. Jacob Kane (Dougray Scott) is approached to make good on a favor, while Alice (Rachel Skarsten) focuses on her plans for retribution. Michael Blundell directed the episode written by Denise Harkavy.

“There's certainly too much pepper in that soup!” Alice said to herself, as well as she could for sneezing.
There was certainly too much of it in the air. Even the Duchess sneezed occasionally; and as for the baby, it was sneezing and howling alternately without a moment's pause. The only things in the kitchen that did not sneeze, were the cook, and a large cat which was sitting on the hearth and grinning from ear to ear.

- Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

Another solid episode - with a fair bit going on between Kate/Sophie/Mary and setting up the backstory of Lucius Fox’s murder. Also a few notable Easter eggs (the Scarecrow’s Fear Toxin and the Harvey Dent connection). Initially, I thought they should have dialed back the Alice stuff and concentrated on the villain-of-the-week (who, I thought, was quite interesting). But it was all tied together by the end; so I guess splitting the action ultimately worked.

Really liked this episode. Some high points were Mary's interaction with Alice and who did or didn't know Batwoman's true identity. Also Kate with Lucius and him having to talk her down from her relationship 'high.' Though I thought for sure that Sophie knew Kate was Batwoman already...
Still hope Sophie doesn't last past the season finale though.

Scar-face girl was nice and disturbing, I'd say even more than Alice, though Alice got that back at the end with the face-steal. Wonder what'll happen to Mouse with him getting a 24-hour dose of that fear toxin..?

I don't know about anybody else, but RR seems to be fitting in with the character a lot more as we go along.

Totally forgot this version of Lucius was killed. But, I guess there's more to it than that.
