Sweet!! I didn't know Aquaman was making an appearance in this season. He was a rumor for the longest time. That's awesome news!

Now, I just saw the pic. Cool character design. For some reason, he shouldn't have the beard...unless he has the long hair...that's just me.

I can't wait to see the Bat-Gadgets in this episode, especially since it's taking place underwater.:oldrazz:

The Ocean Master appearance has me stoked.

The gadgets should be fun. The varied settings and villains are going to let the show push it with the creativity.

I'm not a big fan of the show trying to compromise between the "Superfriends" version and the "Long Hair/Hook" version of Aquaman by giving Arthur a beard...

Since the rest of his person from the neck down is the Orange/Green ensemble (he even has the short hair) He should be clean shaven IMO.

But that's a miniscule feeling. It looks quite good. Black Manta looks far more menacing than he did in the Super Powers "Aquaman" show or "Superfriends" and Ocean Master looks...well he looks a tad goofy, but in a good way.

It's like his comic counterpart (good) but with a different color scheme (meh).

I cant wait to see the animation for this episode. I can see some cool underwater effect going on with just these stils. I assuming the Atom and Faust appearances is during the opening sequence. As for the look of Aquaman, I like it.

Why did they skip last week?

man I wish they gave aquaman that stranded islander look. Oh well

Probably something to do with the Holiday weekend; trying to provide the opportunity for a grander audience.

Ha! I didn't even notice Aquaman was being voiced by the Bender guy. :funny: It's works.

Batman punched a shark! Flashback!

So far, Black Manta has been the coolest villain portrayal on the show to date.

Yup, I agree.

DiMaggio's Aquaman voice IMO is pretty impressive, about as surprising as Kenny's Plas was. Orm's voice wasn't quite what I was expecting, though.

Still a pretty good episode, through not quite as good as the first two. The introduction of Fluke is pretty much a tipoff that he's going to come back later to save Bats' bacon, though in retrospect I suppose you could see that as another sly homage to the '66 Batman movie along with the shark-punching. Plus the animation of the Batplane transforming into a Batsub wasn't quite as good as the way the plane was animated in the previous episode.

This episode was "OUTRAGEOUS!"

Finally, Aquaman is getting the attention he deserves. Black Manta was tubular, he was almosdt like an under-water Boba Fett.

I actually approve of the short/beard combo, its not that bad. Bender as Aquaman was surprisingly good, and I liked his attitude. Great for the proud king of Atlantis, IMO.

Best episode yet. 9/10

I actually enjoyed this episode! Batman was appropriately serious and Aquaman was hilarious. It looks like I judged this series too harshly.

Aquaman seemed like a competent version of Zapp Brannigan from Futurama.
:woot:

^lol yeah.

He seemed to have that machismo, 'Captain White Bread' tang to his characterization. He's the kind of guy who'll save your kids from drowning...but he'll make sure to do it with enough time for the press to get a shot of his good side.

No wonder his brother was annoyed lol

Haha How many times has Batman fought sharks in TV and film? It never gets old. This is such a great series, I look forward to next week.

Finally got a chance to see the show and was quite satisfied with what I saw. The Batman/Aquaman dynamic on the show was great. I loved the names he gave to his adventures like "the time I wore an eye patch to infiltrate a pirate ship" lol.
