Wow JBD was really good in the role not only was he a good henchman/right-hand man to [blackout]Killian[/blackout] but he was a worthy enemy all on his own.

JBD is a good dude over all. I worked with his talent manager a few summers ago and got to meet him and he is a super nice dude. I shot off an email to his manager when i heard he got the part and congratulated him on it.

I thought he did a great job playing off of Happy and Tony and just being a straight up prick of a bad guy. No redeeming qualities at all.

He was very good in the role. I didn't really recognize him (although I thought he looked slightly familiar) so looked him up on IMDB. The only other thing of his I have seen was his part in the TV series 24....but that was like 9 years ago.

He also has one of the best one scene moments in Flight if anyone has seen that. He plays a cancer patient and just has one scene with Denzel that is hilarious.

Yeah he was Chase Edmunds in 24 Jack's partner who was also in a relationship with Kim Bauer in Season 3 before Jack axed his hand-off in the season 3 finale to remove a deadly virus that Chase had retrieved from a terrorist .

I thought he was a better villain than Whiplash. [BLACKOUT]The way Tony took him out was awesome.[/BLACKOUT]

He was a great villain and Extremis worked well with his character.

Probably the most awesome 2nd villain in the Trilogy.

To me.... Savin > Raza > Hammer.

He was great and really threatening. Loved how he wouldn't stay down. He was a better villain than stane and vanko

The way he walks away from the wreckage, chewing on a toothpick. He comes off as such a prick and a badass at the same time.

Savin is one of those henchmen who never really says anything or does anything beyond what it's plot-relevant... But who is still awesome to watch doing plot-relevant stuff.

And I thought he was a more threatening villain than Vanko despite having even less (yes, it's possible) characterization than him. It's mostly thanks to JBD though, I loved the scene where he takes the kid.

Yes, agreed. My friend made a really good point, he said that he hated Savin for being such an *******, but he also loved to hate him. Savin looked evil even when he was just sitting around doing nothing. :funny: I don't know if calling him "a charming villain" would be correct (probably not), but that's what he felt to me. Not a very complex character, not a huge role, he doesn't even have that many lines, yet somehow I loved his presence.

He was the most badass guy on the screen, even more than Killian. Whenever he would pop up you knew other guys were going to get their asses kicked. He just delivered a fear factor quality with his screen presence, I enjoyed his badassery.

He chewed scenery in this one. Great performance. He was Iron Man 3's Mr. Joshua!

My favourite character in the film. Was a great performance, he deserved more screen time.

I just saw IM3 last night and I agree that JBD was badass, he was one of the highlights of the film.

Btw I loved IM3, I'd give it about an 8.5/10

Edit: I'm gonna bump that up to a 9/10
