We will indeed. I have been advocating Craig from the very begining and not once did I ever have any doubts and after seeing the new poster and then the sweet-ass trailer, I can officially say I have bragging rights to say, "I told you so" nd it'll be even sweeter come november when the everyone sees the movie. I honestly believe Brosnan may become a targeted victim of negativity to some degree when CR comes out, especially seeing as its comming straight after DAD, which was a complete disaster.

I agree. I've recently come to the conclusion that Brosnan's bond movies are quite boring to me. I prefer the older movies and besides, that teaser trailer whipes its ass with everything Brosnan did as Bond imo. Brosnan will not be missed.

I agree with everything you said. Some people will miss the previous Bond, that's always the way it works in this type of series, but I can already see the reviews calling Craig, 'the best since Connery'.

If someone can get captured 20 times, survive to bring down his captors and to still fight on, that just goes to show how bizzarely superior it may make Bond appear to be.

Yeh but it also makes him a pretty crap agent, he's just lucky his captors never stay around to watch him die or just shoot him in the head when they have the chance! He's the bigger character no doubt, but some of his skills really need to be looked at!

Bond obviously. However, If there had been an MI flick made sort of along the lines like the Bourne movies. Just that style and drama...AND they made it Jim Phelps<sp>, without Cruise? Yeah that could be tough. I would have loved to see a serious MI film. Not the Cruise vehicle it has always been.

Yes, you're absolutely right. I mean, what the hell did Brosnan ever do except save the franchise from the depths of hell and return the character to the forefront of popular culture after he had become stagnant for almost a decade.

Oh BTW, Brosnan's Goldeneye teaser trailer OWNS the Casino Royale teaser trailer. That's not to say you have to like Brosnan and you can't like Craig, the CR trailer looks great, but this is the same kind of stuff that happened when Batman Begins came out, all of a sudden everyone hates the Burton films and as usual, now everyone hates the Brosnan movies.

Had it not been brosnan it would have been somebody else. My main point is that Brosnan is overrated and as a bond fan, his movies are harder to tolerate compared to previous movies. I'm not all of a sudden hating on Brosnan. In fact I've often said that the best Bond movie he ever did was TWINE. As for GE, there was nothing particularly special about it other than it was a dcent Bond movie after a lengthy absense.

It depends of which movie though. In DAD he was very amateur, in a lot of Moore's movies too, but in many he is lethal. And getting captured is part of the job.

...and thats why Connery is regarded by most to be the best Bond to date.
