The World Cup thread was a lot of fun so we might as well have one for the upcoming Euros in France. :)

Nike, I use to love you. What happened?

It's all the same with Nike and Adidas, they just use the same template design for all their clients. At least the other try and be slightly different.
Adidas template is at least nice right now.

And Coman on to that and its' a devastating talented line up.

Laporte is injured otherwise he'd be in there as well. if anyone was interested as to why hes' not in there.

I wonder if we will see some teams get destroyed? The last World Cup was pretty good for some WTF style results.

I don't think we will. The European nations are a lot stronger than say African, some South American nations. Unless we get a freak results like a 5-0. but that would mean they had a bad day or something.

They expanded it to 24, so I expect at least a couple of whoopings.

France definitely looking good. How many other teams would you guys ranks above England?

I know you are probably no asking me, but the teams I'd say are clearly better are Germany, Spain, and Belgium. Everyone else I would put on or below England's level, including France. But England also has a lot higher chance of choking or playing scared.

I'll follow Sweden but I don't expect us to make much buzz, we'll most definitely go out in the group. But I'm more interested in Iceland (for those who don't know, their manager was the manager for Sweden for many years) and they're looking much more interesting. Quite the underdog team. I think they could surprise people.

Otherwise, it will be interesting to see if England flops as usual. Not sure which team I would consider favorites.

It was a question to anyone in the thread so I appreciate all responses. I feel a bit behind on my knowledge with internationals as I stopped watching them outside of tournaments a while ago. That's good to know. England always has that chance of choking even when we have completely new players it seems. But it sounds like they have a good shot of the semi-finals with the right draw.

We have no chance of anything other than Quarter Finals at best. The dinosaur and his methods are outdated. Wouldn't be surprised if he found a way to put Rooney into the team even though he doesn't deserve a place.

France, Germany and Spain the rest would be a fair fight, we could make the semi's with a fair wind and kind draw.

But this being England we will probably get knocked out by Albania.
