Didn't the game sell better than Bayonetta?
Probably, but anyone who's familiar with Clover's track record for sales knows that nothing to brag about.

Thanks for all the answers guys. I'll have to wait a year or so for this game to go down to 30 bucks, GOWIII is the only new game I'm buying this year. Darksiders does look like a ton of fun though, and the closest I'll ever get to playing a Zelda game.
Bayonetta sold 1.1 million copies in Japan. No idea how much it sold in US, But i'd guess Baynetta got around 2 million.

Ha, wasn't expecting that reaction. Hell, with all the **** going in all the world today, it's actually sad that you find that sad. If I'm well enough to have internet access at home, as well as a PS3 with multiple games (I know you didn't know all that), than I think I'm doing way better than the mean 21 yr old. I might love the God of War series, but if someone hasn't played one of those games, I won't feel bad (Nintendo fanboys don't hyperventilate, I'm not comparing Zelda to GOW, just making a comparison). But I will feel bad if someone here is over 18 and still a virgin... I know it's hypocritical, but I waited that long and I'm pissed at myself now that I know what it's like. That makes me sad.
Why not? Dante's Inferno is getting DLC.
Arkham Asylum got DLC and exclusive Joker on the map packs for PS3.
Both games are short, but Darksiders brings more uniquety to the table so theres always something little new there! If you love Zelda games but lack a wii, go for it!
Darksiders turned out to be quite a polarizing game, with people loving or hating it. Now you can decide which camp you're in when a chunky demo of the game hits later this month. The 90-minute demo, which hits the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on Feb. 25, contains the Twilight Cathedral, the entire first level of the campaign. The level includes puzzles, equipment to find and even two boss battles.
"We are really pumped to be bringing a playable demo for Darksiders to Xbox 360 and PlayStation3," said David Adams, General Manager of Vigil Games. "We really wanted to give gamers a true idea of the variety of gameplay that the game offers and so rather than just making a standard 20-minute demo version of the first few levels, we decided to give away this massive level and reveal the true essence of the game."
For those of you who have played through the game, I'm still desperately trying to get caught up on my library of titles, is that the sort of level that will sell this game? Is it a good cross-section of the full experience?
