The Dark Knight EW.com Poll : Which actor will always be Batman to you?

Also my perception of Batman is slightly different from yours I guess. I see Batman more controled, cooly psychotic and quietly imposing instead of 'rah rah rah!' in your face like when he interogated Flass. He's scarier when he's calmer, like as if it's *normal* to dress in a Batsuit. The intensity comes from confident authority and blazing eyes. Like Keaton.
Ive got to agree with LadyVader and superkong on this. Bale is more intense and less of the "cool" batman because he is still establishing Batman in the criminal mind as something to be feared. The time setting in which Keaton plays Batman he is already feared. The mere mention of Batman brings fright to criminals. He doesnt have to sound violent or scary because his opponents are already scared of him.
Bale is laying the foundation of why and what Batman becomes to criminals. Keaton didnt have to work at it, it was accepted that criminals already feared him. Bale had to show us why.

Do us men agree with the women?

On People magazine last year the best Batman among women is no other than George Clooney. On US weekly they ask ppl around Rockefeller center who is the best Batman and first runner up is Clooney followed by Kilmer. My girlfriend didnt agree when she handed out to me these magazines since she's a Balehead.

Hell, I don't even think the womenfolk on these boards would agree with that, xan.

Most of the women that vote on whatever poll is put out there simply vote on whatever guy they think is hottest. I would guess half of them have never even seen Clooney's Batman.

Isn't that the same as how men vote for women?

Bale was also actually scary

as opposed to Keaton.

Michael Keaton.

Christian Bale was the best though. But I grew up with Keaton.

Keaton's Batman only needed to stare and he was scary. I know he creeped me out when I was a kid.

That's all Christian's Batman needed to do as well, was stare. Point being?

Imagine what it would have been like if it was Kiefer Sutherland instead.

And that's why. Keaton's eyes were like looking into the abyss in those movies, and then that raspy whisper... he was scary.

Keaton's Batman stares. Bale's Batman makes an angry face.

Umm, what's the difference? Both are still staring. I saw Batman looks intimidating without grimacing as well during the movie. His first scene with Rachel, with Gordon at his house. So please, Bale haters, get off that because it simply isn't true.

I'd like to see Bale and Keaton out-stare each other.

BALE: WHUR WERR DA OTHA DRUGS GOING?!

Keaton: (staring)

BALE: (leaving)

I voted for Adam West.
Not that I really think that he is the best Batman ever or something, but to answer this question, "Which actor will always be Batman to you?", I chose him because I can't remember any other role that he made. So, he will always be Batman to me.
I mean, all the others I can remember some other roles they did. :o

Ew.com has a poll asking BATMAN Fans to vote for their favorite BATMAN live action Actor. :batty:

The Choices are

1. Christian Bale -BATMAN BEGINS,THE DARK KNIGHT

2. Adam West - The 1966 BATMAN : Tv Series

3. Michael Keaton - BATMAN89 & BATMAN Returns

4. George Clooney - Batman & robin

Sadly for any fans of Val Kilmer from BATMAN FOREVER was not a candidate in this poll [which I think is a load of Bull, He has more of a right to be their than Clooney Who nearly destoryed The BATMAN movie franchise.]

Anyways vote for your favorite BATMAN .

THE DARK KNIGHT

The question is really: What actor was typecasted by the role? Adam West easily. But he doesn't mind. And he is the one who made my a Batfan.

When you are six, the old Batman series was just as serious as BB is now.
