Anyone following this absolutely fantastic series??? I've been anxiously awaiting the final issue #50 but cant' find a website that definitively says when it will release

Certain sites say July 28th, others say August 11th, I haven't seen anything and have been trying to find out what the official release date is for this final issue of this most marvelous series.

I've only got the first hardcover, but I've been meaning to pick up more since I really liked it.

i have issues 1 - 39 got to get back to reading them currently on Ex Machina vol. 6: Power Down

I've read up through volume 8 of the trades and loved it.

i would really love a tv series out of this i think Matthew Bomer(White Collar) could play Mitchell Hundred

I think it would be too graphic for TV.. Unless it were on HBO or something clearly R rated. The language, graphic violence and of course the questions of sexuality especially Mayor Hundred's would all put this firmly in the R rated category.

yeah but it is'nt preacher or anything

but imo ex machina does not lend itself well to feature film when i read it, it feels like a tv series very episodic than a film

Beautiful poetic final issue... Just wow, although the ending was as dramatic or as sad as I was hoping it would be, it truly is a tragedy and man the thing Mitchell Hundred reduces himself to doing.... beautiful artwork. Questions about his sexuality, politics, blinding thirst for power and yet try to stay the independent candidate and the horrible things he does, betrayal, no loyalty, this book has it all.... The issue almost packed too much which I wish would and could have easily gone for another 10 issues spreading his post new york plans. Superb ending to an excellent series. I was just hoping for a more dramatic hard hitting chaotic sad ending, but this is good enough!
