Suit looks great. Though prefer a multicolored vest and I know I'll get **** for saying this but a checkered vest, or striped vest, or polka-dotted vest. Something that stands out saying "I am a clown but yet I am probably the worst clown you'll ever meet."

all of that is off camera. You might as well point to a photo of Christian Bale walking on the street in everyday clothes and be like "WHY IS BATMAN DRESSING LIKE THAT IN THE MOVIE?!!!"

Anyone who's asking themselves the question "does Joker skateboard in this movie?" is not all there. So the guy who brought us Memento, Begins, Insomnia, Following, and The Prestige is giving us a skateboarding Joker?! Obviously Ledger's either on break, or this is some special featurette for the dvd.

I hope they filmed it for a special feature. Obviously I dont want it in the film, but I'd love to see Joker skateboarding around as part of a DVD extra.

I imagine that Heath had time off from filming, started skateboarding to relax, and Nolan or someone decided it would be cool to film it.

For all we know, Ledger was following the crane cam back to the starting position to try another take.

Consider that this happened between takes. They need to re-set the shot - all cars and actors back to previous positions. Suppose Heath is dorking around on his board while they're moving the cars (and CAMERAS!) back to position.
