Speaking of house. I remember in the original fable the house you bought was basically just there. You couldn't really do anything with it. Like drop off inventory or anything. What upgrades have they made with the houses? Can you at least drop off stuff there now?

I just bought a house and it doesnt look like you can drop off anything. You can purchase new furniture and itll be where your family stays and of course you can rent it out, but other than that, i dont think you can do much else with it.

still disappointed about the map situation. i mean not even a mainscreen mini map to see where the hell u are in that region u have to push pause every time to see.

So what are some of the side things you can do in the game? Besides treasure searching & what not. I heard you can blacksmith, & chop down trees. What is the significance of chopping down trees?

I started playing this today. It's fun and peaceful to play, lol a nice break from the norm.

My chick is a badass swashbuckler. I want to find the most powerful pistol, I'm not a crossbow fan and I love the idea of a pistol and a sword. t:

I got kind of obsessed with earning money through blacksmithing, I'm almost at the full level for it.

Don't use "follow." Use the "come back to my place" expression. You can learn it from a book.

you dont chop trees down you cut trees already down into firewood.

Besides the jobs, there are the pub games. I do have a quest for a Shooting Competition tho, but i dont think its like a mini game thing you can go back to.

There is a pretty hefty amount to do other than quests and side quests. You can be a blacksmith, bartender, bounty hunter, assassin, wood splitter and a few others i think. None of them are really that deep tho as its just a simple press of the A button at a certain time, but they are not designed to be something you spend a majority of your time on. You can also play the economy game. You can buy and sell business. Once you purchase a business you can slash prices or jack the prices up then sell your business for a profit.

I actually had a guy fall for me in Oakfield, he kept following me around and NOTHING i did would get him to leave me alone. So i had to kill him. People were not too fond of me in Oakfield for a while.

Yea dude, theyre in Westcliff, located in the Westcliff camp. They cost about 20,000 gold, but they are the Master class weapons. Bad ass.

To answer a few questions posed in this thread since my last post...

1. I beat the main story and did quite a bit of side stuff while I was going. Took me about 30 hours in all, and there's still a few things to do. I just bought the castle and finished the quest that goes along with it. Most pieces of unique property (castle, brightwood tower, etc.) have unique quests you can do when you buy them. There's also a never ending stream of jobs.

2. There's the pub games, a shooting gallery, and the crucible. So yeah, it does have town games.

3. To get a house for you and your spouse, go to Oakfield and do the demon door. Just propose to whoever you're going to marry in front of it. There's a 4 star house behind it, and it's cut off from the rest of the world, so no villagers.
