So is it better to rent this game or buy it? I have several games and I like to switch games from time to time, and since I usually only have a couple of hours to play every night I haven't finished any of my games yet. From reading the game description I think I'm intrigued by elements that other RPG don't generally have, like the ability to pick your alignment (good or evil), getting married, have your wife or girlfriend knocked up and have kids, and own properties and become a mayor or the emperor, depends on your land ownership.

I think its worth a buy if you enjoy that setting. The fantasy/Dickens type setting. Its really a charming game, one thats best played at your own pace.

hey i was wondering if anyone is having problems with this game.... my 360 keeps causing it to freeze, so im constantly saving like every 5-10min... I took the game back (the one i got for xmas in ohio) and exchanged it for one in LA, and the game is still freezing on me. I guess it must be my 360? but it's never done this to any other game before... any help?

Well Lionhead just released a patch to fix some bugs, maybe that was addressed? Iv never had any freezing problems tho.

so i've looked online, aparently ALOT of people are having this problem, but 2 of the solutions i've read are downloading the game to your hard drive, and also some say if your playing from the disc, turn off orbs.

some others have said on there older xboxs they played through it fine, but when they went on LIVE and downloaded the updates, it began to freeze on them...

all seem to say downloading it to the hard drive though fixes it.

There's a "mystery shop" Where you have to trade items to find out and get what's inside of the boxes. I only had stuff for one of them and it was a staff weapon I never saw before, so I assume most of the store is new weapons/clothes. Also throughout the quest you get pieces of the Knothole Knight Armor.

It's good thus far, I don't know how long it is. The weather effects are pretty neat. More games need snow, seriously.

There's a killer rifle in there. I got several of the items in there so far, but the rifle is the only one better then anything I had.

hmm do you not earn money over investments when you sleep? every day i sleep i lose money... and im not sure how. because i own alot of stores and im making profits off of them....

Sleeping doesn't count as in-game money earning time. The amount of time you watch your character sleep is what gets counted.

I haven't turned this on in over a month and when I did I got well over a million dollars. t:

lol thats dumb... lol you should be able to sleep through days and gain money, if you can lose it too... lol. least it gives you the money while the game is off

aparently there was... i read somewhere up untill midnight on new years eve, some site was dealing codes and aparently at one point microsoft was handing out codes and not asking if they got the special edition or not.

It's not especially huge, but the gameplay is fun enough. Worth the price for the extras that come with it, like the anti-scarring potions and the weapon augment remover. The leather jacket is nice too.

I just got this game and started playing this weekend. It's awesome, except for the goofy expressions. I like the sort of Zelda Vibe, but the expressions just "kiddify" it a bit.

I love the Combat System, and the exploration. I have fun just earning money. It's like Sims meets Zelda.

I'm hoping that in Fable 3, you get to actually design your own charactor like in Mass Effect.
