I don't watch American Dad (couldn't get past the first episode) but I heard it's picked up steam. But,what can be done with Cleveland? It'll probably be a cardboard cutout of FG, just with less interesting main characters.

Agreed. Joe is easier to build a show around. Cleveland and Quagmire are essentially gimmick characters. You can't build a show around a gimmick character. You need someone who is at least SOMEWHAT relatable and Joe probably fits that ticket best.

Plus, it could have had some cool action scenes.
