Agreed. I really didn't start to like the franchise till Tokyo Drift. First was alright but hated the 2nd. 3,5 and 6 are my favs.

Justin Lin did a great job brining everyone back into a new thing.

I think part 2 almost killed the franchise. I was also a big fan of Tokyo Drift. It was nice to see Han again. However I prefer he remain dead. Another resurrection would cheapen the series. Also it wouldn't make sense.

part two is definitely the weakest of the series imo

but Verone was probably my favorite villain? and maybe Shaw too. they're pretty closely tied. i think they were both really intelligent bad guys

I think Cole Hauser is a decent actor and should get better roles.

I really like 2 Fast 2 Furious. I like the buddy cop element. "We hungry."

I enjoy every FF movie for what it has to offer me. 2F2F gave me Eva Mendes, so I'm grateful.

I'm not annoyed by Lucas Black, I'm glad he returns, he had a pretty interesting arc in TD, moreso than any other character in this franchise. Almost (Joseph) Campbellian.

i quite enjoyed 2 fast 2 furious. i liked the team up of paul walker and tyrese gibson. and yes - "we hungry."

i did wish we kept carrying the same progression of titles though: 3 fast 3 furious....6 fast 6 furious, etc

LOL!

that's why it was so fun. it was dumb fun.

especially when they crashed the car onto the boat, dukes of hazard style. lol!

People just don't understand 2 Fast 2 Furious breh. :o

I mean, I understand that it's one of the weaker entries, but I really don't think it's the worst. For the record, I rank them as 5>6>1>2>3>4. The thing that makes me like it so much is that it's not overly-serious or dark or angsty, it's just fun. It's just two bros going out there and screwing over some dumb cops and a Tony Montana wannabe, and having a lot of fun in the process. In some ways I view it as kind of a precursor to the great tone they struck in Fast Five.

I'm assuming that's the appeal of the franchise in general.

Yeah, every one of these movies are dumb fun with a swift injection of adrenaline.

I thought 2F2F felt like the boring direct to video sequel of the original that the rest of the cast passed on. Fast 5 gave it a lil more credit, but I still think it's easily the weakest.

i thought part 4 was the weakest one, even though they brought back vin diesel.

i remember falling asleep in the theater while watching it, but that could've been because i was watching it while drunk. :barf:

I fell asleep during 5, but that could've been because it was 1 AM.

I agree about Fast & Furious.

I managed to sit through Tokyo Drift, but F&F put me to sleep.

As more films have come out, I enjoy 2 Fast as the earlier days of an enjoyable action saga.

Yeah, the 4th one was the only one I saw once, and that was at the midnight premiere. Til' this day, I've only seen it one other time and that was doing a marathon of F1-F4 after watching F5 a couple years ago.

I kinda hope they have Rome say something about Sean looking old for his age.

He looked old for his supposed age then, and now it's like seven years since that movie came out. :funny:

They no doubt will reincorporate drifting into this in a substantial way.

Looks like the 'F' factor is working wonders for actor Ali Fazal, who was last seen in the film FUKREY, produced by Farhan Akhtar. Now the new & young talent of Bollywood is all set to experiment in Hollywood's biggest flick FAST AND FURIOUS 7.

Ali is heading back after shooting his cameo with Vin Diesel and the rest of the cast. His cameo performance is said to be a crucial one.

He is playing the character of a crazy business tycoon in the film. The scenes will involve all the major actors, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and Michelle Rodriguez who will be showing up at his garage. Ali was all excited to work with the Vin Diesel.

The actor was filming at Atlanta with the cast of FAST AND FURIOUS 7. He will again fly to Abu Dhabi in the month of January for completing the remaining shots from the movie.
