I thaught i make a poll on everyone favorite 80's cartoon. I will list 25 cartoons to aired in the 80's. To be honest i think the 80's gave us some of teh bets cartoons ever on saturday mornings and ofcourse introudced us to the weekly cartoons we so loved.

Some on her may not know much about the 80's cartoons for they likely were to young. Anyway i will post the poll with the cartoons in a few moments. Do bare with me here. Some of these cartoons may seem wimpy compared to alot of the comic oriented or toonami cartoons but these laid the way for cartoons to get better outside of the safer cartoons of the 70's.

Hmmm hard choice as ive got great memories of a lot of those cartoons. I think however it'll have to be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

It´s so hard to decid plus some of my favorites aren´t even on the list...

I guess I would go with Transformers on this list, though I think Centurions would give it a run for it´s money.

centurions didn't have the longevity with only 13 episodes...

and i swear that voltron is 70s

and i thought the new adventures of johnny quest was a 90s cartoon

anywho my answer is the new adventures of the galaxy rangers

Soooooo many good choices, top 4 in no particular order has to be Voltron, Transformers, G.I. Joe and Thundercats. Surprised M.A.S.K. wasn't up there, the toys were awesome!! (I know that's what "other" is for)

too much coolness. impossible to pick one.

How come JEM isnt on there ?? Just playin, I'll go with too many good choices to choose one

ghostbusters.

there is nothing better than wasting your weekend watching the ghostbusters cartoons on youtube:)

turtles comes in 2nd

Jem may have been a babe in some guy's eyes, but dude, she pales in comparison to the always hot Crystal Kane from Centurions, and Shana O'Hara, aka Scarlett, from G.I. Joe (Sunbow version, not 4Kids version).

I have a thing for redheads.

Man there are just so many... well, my favorites in no particular order -

1) He-Man & The Masters of the Universe
2) GI Joe
3) Thundercats
4) Transformers
5) The Real Ghostbusters
6) Thundarr the Barbarian

if it wasnt for these clasicc cartoon the cartoons we know and live today would never have come around.

Robotech  and GI joe, I can't lie.
they where the best, of course there were others I loved maybe even too many to count.
sooooo many cartoons I don't even remember half of them.

I hated dinosaucers though, with the fury of a thousand suns.

My truely favorite 80 cartoons were thus.
He-Man and The Masters Of The Universe.
Transformers.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Pac-Man.
The Smurfs.
The Gummi Bears.
Thundercats.

But my truely favorite one and the one i voted for was Dungeons and Dragons.
With the Yoda like Dungeon master. This was my favorite saturday moring 80's cartoon. This even put the live version movies to shame. Venger was such a great villain.

Captain Caveman?!?

I voted Other for The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Sooo many wonderful shows.

Its like asking a parent if they have a favourite child!

I loved Gi Joe (Action Force here in the UK) and Transformers and they were PROBABLY my favourites as a child ... But D&D was epic and Danger Mouse was the stuff of legend!

I alos have great memories of Godzilla ... the one with the family on the boat who could summon him with the push of a button .... was that the 80s?

God the 80's had so many great shows, I'm thankful for Boomerang.

Thunder Cats
Johnny Quest
Ducktales

These are three I can't decide between.

No problem, enjoy the site, man what i'd give to re-live my youth again!

Someone answer me a question. Why do people consider He-man as Gay today. I mean back in the day i thaught it was funny and not ina gay way. I mean there was Teela, The Sorceress, and Evil Lyn in the stories as well as a few nice looking damsels. My point is i can get the blonde jokes. Maybe i am just a fan but i never saw He-Man as gay. I laugh at it for what it was a silly fantasy cartoon. I see Superman or the flash more gay then he-man. I always saw He-man as a Conan The Barbarian character who had a moral code.

Damn that list brought back memories.

I think TRANSFORMERS will be at the top of most lists of those that grew up in the 80's. It was a cultural phenomonon. Can't believe you left VISIONARIES off that list, or DEFENDERS OF THE EARTH.

Transformers
The Wuzzles..i know shoot me!
He Man.
Visionaries.
Defenders of the Earth.

We need muliplt choice some times BloodyWolverine.

I'm goping with Transformers,I loved this show and I don;t recall having anyone to talk to about it. All the girls thought were so uppity in my school and the guys that liked it were nowhere near my type of guy.
He-Man,sexy. :O
Alright the wine has won,I can't go on. :O
