I love the Mark 42's look. It's a lot sleeker, more form-fitting than the others, and instead of round shapes it's composed of several flat panels (this is more visible from the back). The color scheme brings a very fresh feeling as it is unlike most other Iron Man suits.

My favorite is the Mark 7, though the Mark 6 and Mark 42 come close.

Mark 7, because it allowed him to battle an alien armada (basically it was a better war machine than War Machine). Plus it's got a jetpack, which may seem redundant, but is actually quite intuitive and genius when you think about it.

Mark 42 for me. The Avengers: Age of Ultron armor just looks like it's a recolor of it (more red) but I like the yellow more.

I'm going to say Mark VII. I prefer the circular chest piece over the triangle.

I like the body of the Mark 42, but it's too much champagne gold for me. But if you take that suit and add more red to it, it would be almost perfect.

I voted for Mark VII, but now that I think about it, that one in Iron Man 3 that split apart and went back together is probably my favorite. Igor was awesome in that movie as well.

I wish they didn't push out 35 new armors in Iron Man 3, only for most of them to be repaints and mismatches of each other to get to the number "42", than having little to no screen time, and all getting blown up at the end to please a Pepper.

I liked it during Phase One with the first 7 armors when we slowly saw how each armor got more advanced as they were introduced.

I'm going to agree with Moridin. I like that Mark 39 armor for sub-orbital use. Hopefully we'll get to see it used in the MCU one of these days.

I agree. The one that stood out to me most was "Igor". I remember when everyone thought that was the Hulkbuster armor. I could have forgiven the fact that the Iron Legion battle was glossed over if the armors weren't all destroyed at the end.
