All monster vs. movies sound awesome on paper but really, Freddy vs. Jason sucked

Now when they throw 4-5 of these a-holes into one movie and let mayhem happen, then we got a good script. Who wouldn't want to see a max-security jail housed with tons of film baddies escape and kill inmates and guards...I DO

Sorry but all the recent slasher movies have been horrible. They have milked that poor franchise dry into crappy plots with horrible characters and dialogue.

The crappy ending takes the cake though...

Jason X could've had a better ending, I'll say that but I did like the film for the most part. However, since the Friday the 13th series of movies is being remade in hopes of focusing more on Jason, we should be getting some new movies.

Btw, not all new slasher movies have been horrible, the new Halloween movie was great but I still think that something totally new needs to be done with Michael Myers to keep the character fresh.

I think I have to go with the Alien.

Horrific pseudo-sexual design.
The parasitic life-cycle is disturbing.
It's a hybrid so it can take on many forms
You can't destroy it at close range or molecular acid will leak all over you.
Claws, spiked tail, sharp, jutting jaw.
Viscious, merciless, fast and agile.
Likes creeping around in the dark.

That's a hard combo to beat.

Dont think so, Ive heard talks of Freddy v. Micheal Myers,but I don't think it got off the ground at all.
If they really wanna do a spin off they really need to do Freddy v. Jason v. Micheal v. Leatherface
You definately need freddy in any version u have,as hes the only talking one of the bunch..

Yeah, it wasn't but I still really enjoyed the film. For a giant monster movie, I'd say it was pretty damn good.

I liked the film as well for what it was.

Actually, if the 1998 american remake was retitled as a remake of, oh let's say, "The Beast from 20,000 fathoms" instead of "Godzilla" I believe the film would have been better recieved. It would have worked better as that kind of remake, than that of Godzilla. Considering how different the american version of the Big G really was.

Ya, Halloween remake wasn't bad I kindof enjoyed it,but Zombies version was all about T&A,and thats it. Think Zombie would of been better suited doing Friday 13th remake than Halloween,and he can bring his usuall cast of misfits with him..
Far as Friday I hope they bring back Kevin Hodder to play Jason or maybe Taylor Mane or Nathan Jones.

Absolutely the Predator. The monster is so intriguing that even half-assed action flicks like Predator 2 and AVP are worth watching (despite the fact that AVP turns them into space quarterbacks and not the nimble athletes of the previous movies).

For me, the Predator is the most convincing alien Hollywood has ever created.

Convincing?! Well, that's a different set of criteria. The most convincing other world life-form will probably be something depicted as a microscopic bacteria if you want to be practical about it.

But as for one of the most entertaing, yeah I can go along with that..definitely.
