  3. Good Time
  4. Phantom Thread
  5. T2: Trainspotting
  6. Blade Runner 2049
  7. Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Mudbound
The Florida Project
Revenge
Disobedience

I think I only saw cbm in 2017 so:

Logan, Ragnarok, Homecoming, GOTG vol 2

I saw I Tonya a couple of months ago and it deserves all the accolades it got.

SW TLJ is a tough one. I thought Mark Hamill did an amazing job with the crappy material and I appreciate that they tried to put an interesting spin on ESB - but it was also full of unnecessary crap and some plot twists felt like twists for twists sake rather than legit story points which make sense. Luke's death/ascension was the high point of a confused film.

Blade Runner 2049
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
Logan
John Wick 2
Wind River
The Lego Batman Movie
Logan Lucky

A Silent Voice -- a touching anime drama film about bullying and the toll it can take on all parties.

In This Corner of the World -- a worthy successor to Grave of the Fireflies, one of the best films to deal with the effects of war.

Coco -- Pixar's best since Inside Out and Toy Story 3, a colorfully immersive adventure to the other world.

Dunkirk -- a rollercoaster ride of a war film, serious and entertaining in a way Interstellar does not manage.

All These Sleepless Nights -- a documentary/fiction film about clubs kids on the cusp of adulthood dealing with what that means. Underseen but superb.

Personal Shopper -- a funny and moving ghost story starring Kristen Stewart giving one of her best performances.

Blade Runner 2049 was my own favourite film of that year, without a doubt. That and Coco.

Blade Runner
Paddington 2
Shape of Water
Get Out
Logan

Blade Runner 2049, Wind River, Get Out, Baby Driver, and It.

Logan Lucky, I Tonya, GotG2, Lego Batman, and Wonder Woman were solid but not quite there as favorites.

Did not care for Logan. The stupidity of the plot point with Eriq LaSalles family turned me off. Just terrible writing.

Dunkirk is one for my watchlist.

Baby Driver would have to be my favorite.

I also really dug The Greatest Showman.

In no specific order. The numbered list is used to see how many movies I listed here.
  1. John WIck 2
  2. Get Out
  3. Kong Skull Island
  4. Wind River
  5. Logan
  6. Guardians of the Galaxy 2
  7. The Lego Batman Movie
  8. Disaster Artist
  9. War of the Planet of the Apes
  10. Thor Ragnarok
  11. Baby Driver
  12. Dunkirk
  13. A Silent Voice

GOTG Vol. 2
Wonder Woman
Logan (That ending was the saddest :csad:)
Going in Style

I still want to see the Lego Batman movie. But I do have so many movies that I still need to watch in general.
