Though Zod rocks, Ursa is my favorite villian. She is just so cold and unfeeling and sexy. She is the best of the three.

Yeah, Ursa is sadistic in a very 80's way.....she's a witch. Zod is more intrested in power, Ursa prefers to hurt people. Never understood why she hates all men but obeys Zod. Maybe that's an 80's comment on feminism.

I would have loved to see Jak-El (was that his name?) included in Supes II.

My favourite's still Zod, especially when I see him shooting the gun in the White House, I can't believe Lester cut that out. I think it's so wonderful to see the look on his face.

I prefer the version in the RIC where Zod grabs the gun and, without laughing, mows down lots of soldiers.

This is the one I haven't seen, but I'm desperate to get hold of. How different is it?

the original version of Ursa was that she was a lesbian.. but they changed that when lester took over superman 2.

Here's an indepth review....http://www.supermanhomepage.com/movies/movies.php?topic=sup2-RIC-review

Quite a bit different. I love it, it may actually be my favourite version....for instance, the scene were Clark walks back thru the snow to the Fortress contains all the footage from both Donner and Lester cuts, and more. For the first time it really feels like a long, painful, desperate struggle, as it should.

I was absurdly lucky, I just looked on eBay and it was there first time, and for a cheap 'buy now' price. It's rather hard to come by.

Thanks mate, that's a great help. So would you recommend getting it? :yay:

Actually, I've just read the review and seen some of the extra scenes and to be honest I'd like to see the extra bits, but most of them just seem like more stupid Lester moments. Thanks again Kevin Roegele for posting this link, now I know Donner's cut is the best. :yay:

I loved hearing him speak for the first time ever on the vintage making of Superman II documentary.

Oh no, I'm not quitting. I still want to see it, but I just know I'll prefer Donner's cut, because for one thing this International cut doesn't have any of the new Jor-El scenes that I love. :O

Seriously, I thought the same, but the RIC Cut just is better.

the RIC Cut just is better.

The RIC could have been the Donner cut, but Donner just wanted to remove as many Lester scenes as possible. I understand where he is coming from, but since he never actually completed the film he should have just included some Lester stuff to give the film a feel of completion. I love the Donner cut, but it feels so incomplete when you watch it. That's the films only flaw...that he never finished it. :csad:

Yeah, Ursa is sadistic in a very 80's way.

If the script was written in 1977 and her scenes were shot in `77 and `79 how exactly is she an `80s woman?

As far as the movies... Ursa. Man, Sarah Douglas is a beautiful woman. Mean too!
The comics I liked Jax-Ur who actually destroyed an inhabited moon on Krypton causing him to be put in The Phantom Zone!
