Sequels Sequel Villian Design/Manip Thread

Since there's a lot of buzz surrounding who could be the next villian for the Sequel to Superman Returns, I thought I'd start this so people can manip some designs and manip villians.

oh, but I do not have a good photo editing system...so I will just be submitting designs...for now, I'm just gonna start on stuff for Brainiac...I'll put some drawings up later tonight...

that's my first attempt...I wanted it to resemble Kyptonian technology (from the films basically) so I hinted at the kryptonian villains from the previous films and Superman's suit from SR...and for his face I wanted to go humanoid...and for the torso...I thought it looked blank so I added the kryptonian symbol for 'B'(just thought it would look interesting) and on the other parts of the page I have close-ups of the eyes and the way the cables insert into his head.....let me know what you think.

OK I know it worked out pretty well of TAS, and not so well for smallville (the eradicator by anyother name) But I wish people get it out of thier heads that brainiac was a krytonain computer or android. hes not hes from Colu, he was either an andriod built by the machine tyrants,or he is the soul of rebel scientist exicuted tring to over throw them depending on if your going pre or post crisis.

Yeah, but if I remember S:TAS correctly, they never actually stated that Brainiac was FROM Krypton. All I remember is that he served pretty much the same function on Krypton as he did on countless other worlds, and the end results were pretty much the same: collect a planet's knowledge, then destroy it. So he could have existed well before having a presence on Krypton.

Good point , I dont remember if they said Jor El built him or not. Just as long as in the movie they dont SAY his is Kryptonian.

This is my choice for the villain in the sequel...



Jor-El would have created him to assist Jor-El with his experiments,But Zod corrupted Brainiac ,Which made Jor-El send Zod to the phantom zone and Brainiac was nowhere to be found.But when Superman went to Krypton's remains,Brainiac followed him back to earth.Brainiac Took the knowledge from the kryptonian crystals but he wanted more.He wants the knowledge of every planet in the universe starting with earth.

It would be called
Superman:Brainstorm

(Sorry if it sounds like crap.Its five in the morning and i havent been to sleep yet. )

Superman:Apokolips Trailer

Starts out with a black screen.

Martha Kent(Voice over): "Clark, the universe is a big place, and you dont know who's out there."

We see a quick shot of a big figure in the shadows with glowing red eyes.

Clark Talking to Lois:"There is something I need to tell you."

We see Superman Flying Very fast above the ocean with a vortex of water behind him.


Two red beams hit the kent house,turning it into dust

Darkseid Throws a car at Lois,Richard and Jason

we see a shot of Jason holding the car as Lois and Richard look at him.

A shot of Darkseid Smiling.

A quick shot of a tall building engulfed in flames

We see a shot of hundereds of army vehicles

Lois:"DAD..."

Sam Lane turns and Lois gives him a hug.



Darkseid standing on the ruins of a building :"KAL-EL OF KRYPTON...!"

Superman looking pissed :THIS ENDS NOW,DARKSEID!

We see several quick shots of Superman and Darkseid fighting.(listed below)

Superman Getting knocked Through four buildings.

Superman punching Darkseid in the Face.

Darkseid smashing a Semi over Superman's head

Darkseid Holding Superman by his feet and Smashing him into the ground creating a giant crater.

And a final shot of Superman Shooting a huge blast of Heat vision At Darkseid.

The trailer Ends showing the name of the movie with a Voice over of a Dark,deep laugh.
