Didn't think I'd like it, but Bernie Mac was actually really funny in this film.
The humor, I was surprised at how much humor was in the film, most of it actually worked.

Ironhide wanting to kill Sam's parents "cause they annoy him."

Starscream taking out the F22's. It made me want a Robotech movie badly.

Optimus driving down the freeway ... as the camera passes the passenger door, Optimus Transforms to robot mode. The camera then goes under him and you see him on hands and knees. Using his momentum he stands and spins back to face Bonecrusher. <-F'ing Sweet.

Yes, and why I don't get that when I came to the boards afterwards ... no one was mentioning it. It was subtle, but it was clear ... and it was PRECISELY the character defining trait of what makes SS so cool. And for supposed "enthusiasts", "life long fanatics", and "source material purists" ... it seemed to slip right past them ... and someone who JUST got into the mythos picked it up. And it ended up being one of the coolest parts of the film. And also was a HUGE wink at the fans.

YEAH!! what hell is that JJ Abrams movie about? it sure looks very interesting....ohhhhhh!! I remember now what's about!! It's about 2012 end of the world according the Mayan calendar. I remember reading somewhere that JJ Abraham was making a movie about it.

I just got back from seeing it about 20 minutes ago. Do you remember exactly when he shot Megs in the back? I want to have an idea when to look for it the next time I see the movie.t: I didn't notice it the first time.

Favorite scene......that's a hard one. I think it would have to be either the scene with Barricade interogating and going after Sam or Megatron fighting at the end.
