Some of my favorites have been:

> Lex's condition that was introduced in "Crusade", that he need an injection each day to stay alive.

> How did Fine reappear after his death in "Solitude"? Was it just a copy that died?

Thoughts?

Not that I'm saying there aren't some gaping wide plotholes in the show, but I believe that both of those were explained, at least to a degree, in subsequent shows.

Lex simply became stronger and fully recovered from the damage the poison caused eventually. He always heals, that time just took a while longer.

And I do believe that Jor-El? said something that sorta covered how Brainiac could continue coming back - I think as long as the "ship" existed, Brainiac could still become corporeal.

Perhaps someone with a more detailed memory than I can be more specific though.

That's true and they even took it one step further in the Verizon Text Messages. Lex received an email from his Dr. saying that his system had completely recovered from the poisoning.

The corporeal being known as Milton Fine, was just an extension of the black ship. The black ship was actually the REAL danger known as Brainiac.

Heh. I knew avid would be able to quote the specifics on the above.
She's like my SV reference library. ;)

up until recently it was 33.1

what happend to that dog the kents had, did he move out?

Why is Lois Lane such a *****?

^ the first one is a good point. We have yet to see Shelby at all this season. Poor missing dog, and the Kents don't seem to care.:csad:

Not to mention how they would have actually gotten kryptonite before the planet exploded...

...and if it wasn't Kryptonians, how would they know to place the kryptonite in the vicinity of the map? Coincidence?

Now, usually I'm all for these little side-thingies that delve into the nooks and crannies that just one fit into the story of the season (ie, the Chronicles). However, I think something like this really should've been stated on camera, because honestly I don't think it ever was mentioned (although I'm willing to admit I could be wrong).

I think my favorite plothole is the insane fluctuation of the weather that seems to happen in Smallville. It seems like every season, the weather is so on and off...they'll wear coats in the summer, or in one episode the ground will be covered in snow and in the episodes before and after the ground will be completely clean (not that that's impossible). Always just find it amusing is all...

Also, we're still waiting for those damn kids to go back to college...shouldn't a new semester have started up by now?

I doubt that Lana is going to go back to College now. Chloe most likely will, but I dont think second semester starts for another couple of weeks.

Don't ya think you're being a little harsh?

She was a virgin until last season and only just started having sex with Lex the third episode in this season...

She's only had sex with Clark and Lex so she's hardly sleeping around.

How do you know how many guys Lois has been with? All we know is that she's not a virgin. She could have been with only one guy, or several. Lana, we know has only been with Clark, and now Lex. Hardly worthy of a "****e" classification.

I really hate how easily people throw around the "****e" label. Interesting that no one has felt the need to comment on how many sex partners Lex has had - and we KNOW he's been around (and around, and around..).

Misogyny ain't pretty...

You bring up a good point: Lex's number of partners never comes up.

Double standards stink.

Well there was that one episode Bound, where it was brought up, but I think its something that they should have brought up again, especially when Lana was contemplating a sexual relationship with him.

I think trip and I are referring to it not being brought up by fans, not that it wasn't addressed in the show. I've read way too many comments calling Lois and/or Lana on their sexual activities.

clark being injected with kryptonite (and not staying completely dead) in a season 5 episode were lana became a junkie to c her dead parents

Smallville has no plotholes.

I actually mentioned that in my review for Wither, I believe, that Lex had asked her to move in and said that he hadn't done that before, which isn't true.

Why didn't she remember him asking Helen Bryce to move in back in season two? Lana was a business partner with Lex at the time in the Talon... he's the only billionaire in town.

Wouldn't a prominent local doctor moving in with him have been noticed? Especially by a girl who would have undoubtedly heard rumors, owing to her close relationship with Lex, even if she didn't know first hand?

Stupid she didn't mention it and called him on his lie when he asked her to move in...

Spring semester in most colleges starts in late January/early February, so we should see them going back not too long after the show comes back on Jan 11th

No, I meant in the show.

Although they talked about it in that episode, and referred to it in a couple of others, it hasn't been a point of contention for Lana. Why wouldn't she point out his lies to him when he's obviously lying?

It's inconsistant. She always pointed out Clark's lies, why doesn't she do that to Lex too?

*shrug*

I don't think Lana's been a bad girl. She has been very picky, in fact, about her men but she should have known when Lex lied to her and she should have pointed it out to him.

It's a pretty big plot hole since she's been so unsure about Lex, yet defends him as being more honest than Clark and there he is telling her an outright lie should have recognized as such.

It doesn't make sense...

But I do agree that Lana and Lois being called "****es" is going too far... They're clearly not.
