So there's a thread just quickly mentioning who our favorite voice-actor for Spider-Man is and I was wondering if I should create a poll to see what all of you think.

Enjoy!

Keaton AINEC. Admittedly it is partly due to the material, as Keaton had by far the best stuff to work with.

Harris wasn't bad.

Bell wasn't very good in the little I saw of USM.

Barnes had good moments and bad. I felt he often had a hard time with anger or with overly dramatic moments. His black-suited Spider-Man was downright cringeworthy.

Soles had great delivery of his pretty cheesy material.

I personally think Christopher Daniel Barnes has the best Spider-Man voice, whereas Josh Keaton is the best Spider-Man voice actor.

Romano will always have a special place in my heart as a great Spidey voice actor but my current favorite is Keaton. His voice acting is pitch perfect for Spidey.

You forgot those who voiced him in games, like James Taylor Arnold
My favorite is the Spider-Friends voice of Dan Gilvezan

Josh Keaton..which reminds me we should make a petition for Marvel Animation to air the rest of the Avengers: EMH episodes with JOSH KEATON'S voice and NOT Drake Bell's

Should, who will start it?

I didn't forget it, I just wanted to have the choices who have voiced him in only cartoons.

Josh Keaton all the way. He managed to perfectly balance humor, heroism, and drama.

Much as I liked The Animated Series voice work, I agree that the anger was forced. He had a great sarcastic delivery though.

Keaton's work was the best.

Josh Keaton for me. CDB was good and did a good job as sarcastic Spidey, but I agree with other posters. I felt he overacted in the more dramatic scenes.

Paul Soles, the 60s cartoon Peter Parker and Spidey voice actor, is still the best. Grew up with this cartoon, and his voice is still the voice I hear in my head when I read Spidey comics.

Keep On Thwipin'!!!
Sam

Gotta go with Josh Keaton on this one. I grew up listening to Christopher Daniel Barnes, who as others have noted had great comic delivery (which I suspect helped him get the part) but he often struggled with the more dramatic moments. How much of that was his fault, the fault of a bad voice director and/or the fault of bad writers I don't know.

I don't hate Drake Bell, but his energy is wasted on jokes that often aren't that funny.

I think I prefer Josh Keaton. This is my favorite version of Spider-Man.

That said...

This is the same for me! It's the default voice in my head when reading the comic. Same for the '60's JJJ!

Christopher Daniel Barnes is my favorite. 90's spiderman was my childhood, and whenever I read a spidey comic I hear 90's spidey's voice.

90's spiderman has more of an emotional meaning to me than any other spidey, rivaled only by Tobey Maguire, whose acting in the movie effected me emotionally.

Good to see Paul Soles getting some love. Josh Keaton is my favorite with CDB a very close second, but Paul is the original. I loved him in The Incredible Hulk as well.:word:

Another voice I remember fondly is René Auberjonois, who voiced Spidey in From Beyond the Grave.

Probably more nostalgia speaking than anything, but Rino Romano. The PS1 games were pretty much a huge part of my childhood, among my first games, and really got me into the Spidey franchise. Rino's a good voice for an older Spidey.
Josh Keaton's also pretty awesome

In this order

Christopher Daniel Barnes
Josh Keaton
Rino Romano

...everyone else
