Favorite X-Men title right now???

This might be better in the Comics section of the X-men forums (but that place doesn't get any activity so I'm not sure why it exists lol)

I'm a bit underwhelmed by the team books and impressed with the solo titles. ANW, Iceman, or Jean Grey are probably my favourites. I stopped reading Gold, and Blue has been treading water. Generation X is actually not bad. Astonishing is telling an interesting side story that will probably make a great trade but it can feel like things aren't progressing right now. I have high hopes for Red!

I have pretty bad luck with picking which X-Books to stick with, it seems. I really regret dropping All-New Wolverine. But I'm quite excited for Red. As of now, I'd have to say Astonishing, but I second the comment that it's the type of thing that would probably be better in trade.

Like you, OP. I don't have a favorite. Before the ResurrXion relaunch, I was loving Bunn's Uncanny X-Men. I love Inverted Sabretooth, and I was digging his relationship with Monet, plus the direction Bunn was going.

Now Creed's in Weapon X, and Pak has been the worst writer for him. Creed has been nothing but a joke throughout this book. He's utterly moronic, completely incompetent, gets his butt kicked more than anyone, everyone on the team talks down to him, and he's automatically evil again with no build-up. To go from Bunn's great writing & plans to the downgrade that is pak is frustrating. All of Creed's character development was cut short & ignored when Bunn lost him to Pak.

So needless to say, my LEAST favorite is Weapon X due to the ruining of Sabretooth. I hope this book doesn't last past mid-2018, and Creed can be handed off to a better writer who will ignore everything pak writes.

Otherwise, I am following Generation X. But only to see Monet, since her story also got disrupted when Bunn lost her. And I am hoping the answer will be there for why she's not still with Sabretooth. Bunn took the liberty of showing they ran off together in UXM -only for ResurrXion titles to have glossed over it. I am hoping a reason is given, and it's not just Marvel having OMD'd it from canon.

Bunn's Uncanny X-Men was nice. I dislike Gold. While the roster of Blue puts a bad taste in my mouth. I have yet to read Astonishing but it appears to be a limited series.

All-New Wolverine. I miss the nearly-quiet X-23, but I love Tom Taylor's writing.
