The Last Jedi Favourite scenes in TLJ (SPOILERS)?

Now that TLJ is premiering in even more countries, what were your favourite scenes/moments in the film?

For me it would be the Rey/Kylo vs. Praetorian guards battle. Beautifully shot and choreographed. Also decent in length, too.

Cringe-worthy moment for almost everyone in the audience, but the moment Leia flies back to the ship after a blast sent her into the deflector shield.
It was so crazy but such an artistic move.

The throne room scene was very strong, right from Smoke torturing Rey up to the end of the red guards fight. The audience in the theatre I was in clapped and cheered when Snoke died and when Kylo kills the last guard.


All the mind link scenes between Rey and Ren were well done; and

Luke's final showdown and grand exit- fitting for such a legend.

That's the standout for me as well. Both how it played out and the effects and sound design.

I think the throne room fight will win hands down as the best scene.

I also loved the bit at the start when Poe is playing for time with Hux.

Every scene with Carrie was heart-wrenching.

Oh, and the scene with Chewie and the porgs on the island!

Luke and Leia's reunion was really touching - and heartbreaking at the same time.

- Luke asking Rey to reach out to the Force and her actually reach out and getting trolled big time. That scene and the nuns getting spooked by the falling rock after she cuts are two of the funniest to me.
- I found Hux kinda ridiculous most of the movie and don't get why the hell is he in charge of the army but "Do you think you got him?" was gold
- The throne room fight was exception and Snoke's death
- Holdo blowing up the Supremacy as well, true hero of this movie, next to Rambo BB-8, who is an indestructible war machine.
- Every single scene between Ben and Rey, I can't get enough of this paring. So compelling and full of chemistry.
- Finn entering the casino and losing his mind and that alien trying to fill BB-8 with money

On another note, I commend them for not going overboard with the Porgs - just enough to make it cute and a recurring joke.

Our audience went nuts when that happened.

BB-8 doing the gunslinger move at the detention center.

"Still holding for General Hux."

I loved Yoda's appearance too. He looked a little weird at first but when he started moving it was old Yoda again.

I did not expect to see Yoda! As soon as I saw him, I figured he'd come to knock some sense into Luke, and that's exactly what he did.
