Batman Begins Favourite Scenes

Well on the one hand his legend turned out to be mundane theatricality, but there really is an ancient ninja group that balances societies through the ages. Wouldn't it be better if that was all a ruse to draw Bruce in?

Anyway, favorite scenes. I like Scarecrow's "have a drink" mocking of Batman

I don't know. I was focusing more on the fact that I should have guessed that Liam Neeson was really R'as Al Ghul from the beginning. "Ducard" dropped some very major hints like having a wife taken from him by a violent criminal.

The training scene on the ice and the last scene setting up the joker come to mind. Also Bruce meeting with carmine falcone at the restaurant/bar was a cool scene

That was a jaw-dropping piece of cinematography to so many when they first saw it. To see something like this, not computer generated, in a real city 60 stories up, it was quite something.

I got shivers from that moment.

Gordon: "Take this guy. Armed robbery, double homicide, got a taste for the theatrical like you. Leaves a calling card"

I nearly jumped out of my seat with joy the first time I saw the Joker card. Awesomeness.

Lol I was the same, I turned to my friend and exclaimed it must be the Joker, and he replied something like - "Sit your ass down, I know."

For me I barely noticed that scene the first time I saw it and it was never as amazing as I heard I know it was a real stuntman and all but it just never did it for me.

We're all different !:cwink:

To me it's pure Batman essence and I hope we'll see others like that in TDK !

For me the only reason I don't like it that much is it should have been a lot darker and there shouldn't of been some fancy ass building right behind where he was standing should have been like a cathedral behind him or something.

Another iconic building pose is when Batman's looking down from a skyscraper right before his scene at Gordon's house.

Well....yeah why not! The buildings are just proof of the modern urban environment surrounding Batman in Nolan's world! I remember people here talking about the same kind of scene in TdK with Bats on top of a building at dawn....

Good one too yeah !

I love this movie and there's so many scenes. I'll try to name of few of my favorite moments that haven't been mentioned.

- Every scene in Ra's temple.

- The scene where Gordon meets and comforts a young Bruce who's still in shock of his parents murder.

- When Bruce is spraying the Batsuit and gauntlets. (The score during this scene is fantastic)

- The scene where Batman visits Gordon's office (The "Now we're two" scene).

- Batman visits Gordon at his home. (I love the fact he disappears while Gordon is answering his question).

- When Batman's in the Narrows and Crane sprays him with the fear gas and tells him he needs to "Lighten Up". lol

- The Tumbler chase of course! With that great Molossus track thumping in the background!

- Batman's escape from the Asylum. Calling on the bats for backup. I love how he decends from the top of the stairs. Pure badass in that scene.

...There's more I'll be back later. :)

What!? Was that really a practical shot? Wow, I always assumed it contained some kind of greenscreen and CG background. That's really a stunt double on an actual skyscraper?

Btw, MiniBond, do you know a site that has more Begins screencaps?
