The Dark Knight Favourite Two-Face quotes

"We thought we could be decent men, in an indecent time."

Love that quote. Really sums up the Gordon/Dent/Bats relationship.

"The world is cruel. And the only morality in a cruel world is chance: unbiased, unprejudiced, fair."

"It's not about what I want, it's about what's Fair!"

"Tell your boy he's going to be ok, Gordon. Lie like I lied"

*flips coin*

two face: you're a lucky man.

*flips coin again*

twoface: he's not.

maroni: who?

* fastens seatbelt*

twoface: ..... your driver.

BANG !!!!

It's too bad there are so few. One of my favorites is the quote that pretty much lets EVERYONE know he's officially become Two Face.

Dent holding his coin to Joker: (shows good side) "You Live..." (shows scarred side) "You die."

At that point, I think Harvey Dent finally becomes Two Face... not when he gets scarred, not when he finds out Rachael is dead. But after the Joker frees him and arms him, and he first judges someone with the coin, he's Two Face.

"RACHEL!"
"SAY IT!"
"you live, you die!"
"you think I want to escape this?"

Gordon: I'm sorry, Harvey.
Two-Face: No. No, you're not. Not yet.

Two-Face: *flips coin* You're a lucky man. *flips coin again* He's not.
Maroni: Who?
Two-Face: *fastens seatbelt* Your driver. *gunshot*

"Have you ever had to talk to the person you love most, wondering if you're going to listen to them die? You ever had to lie to that person? Tell them it's going to be all right, when you know it's not? Well, you're about to find out what that feels like. Then you'll be able to look me in the eyes and tell me you're sorry."

"You think I want to escape from this? There is no escape from this!"

"It's not about what I want. It's about what's FAIR! You thought we could be decent men in an indecent time! But you were wrong. The world is cruel. And the only morality in a cruel world is chance. Unbiased. Unprejudiced. Fair."

"Then why was I the only one who lost everything?"

"Tell your son it's going to be all right, Gordon. Lie. Like I lied."

The final confrontation between Batman, Gordon, & Two-Face is so powerful. You really see how far Dent has fallen & feel his rage & despair. It's both terrifying & heartbreaking.

"Tell your boy he's going to be ok, Gordon. Lie like I lied"
The 1st time I heard that line my jaw slowly dropped and I didnt take another breathe till after he got tackled

Everything he says is perfect.
my favorite two face moment has to be when he grabs the maroni goon off screen and takes his place in the car...or when he selects gordon's son and says "I think we have a winner" smiling. The only time he smiles as two face...the way it looks is purely crazy.

But...by the far the coolest thing is when he points the gun at "those responsible" and he has no hesitation in shooting batman immediately, and with his eyes real wide flipping for his own life, and then to gordon's son..

"The Joker's just a mad dog. I want whoever let him off the leash."

It was already mentioned but mine was
"You think I want to escape from this? There is no escape from this.."

Just kind of puts the finality of it all for Dent in that line. Everything he's ever believed in and loved has been torn down and he just doesn't care anymore.

When he screams "SAY IT!"
I jumped right out of my seat. What an actor Mr. Eckhart really is.

Batman:"You don't wanna hurt the boy Harvey"

Harvey:"It's not about what I want, it's about what's fair! You thought we could be decent men in an indecent time, but you were wrong. The world is cruel, and the only morality in a cruel world is chance. Unbiased, unprejudiced...fair. His son's got the same chance she had, 50/50."

Batman:"What happened to Rachel wasn't chance. We decided to act, we three."

Harvey:"Then why was it me who was the only one who lost everything!"

Batman:*Pause* "It wasn't"

Without out a doubt one of the most emotional movie moments, you could sense that silent pain when batman told Harvey that he wasn't the only one who lost everything, and the touch of background music in that part just clicks perfectly.

I have to agree with the above; pretty much everything he said was great. And the lines were made even better by the tone of his voice and the expressions. The calm, cold delivery made the lines seem so sinister. Aaron did a great job of conveying that this wasn't the Harvey Dent we came to know at the beginning of the movie.

But...by the far the coolest thing is when he points the gun at "those responsible" and he has no hesitation in shooting batman immediately, and with his eyes real wide flipping for his own life, and then to gordon's son..

Did you notice his expression right before he shot Batman, when he saw the coin had come up scarred side? He looked... anguished. But he still didn't hesitate to shoot. That really made the moment for me.

Or maybe I'm mis-remembering it; it's been awhile. Dang, now I want to see TDK again!

Hospital scene, talking to Gordon:

"Why should i hide...who i am?"

"Going to see your wife?"

"Do you love her?"

I loved his tone during that part.
