Fearnet coming Halloween to Comcast

That's gonna be some good ****. Especially if they show the classics and not any new "thrillers" that's toned down on the gore.

I'm still waiting for the Horror Channel to come on the air, 3 years after it was announced. That sounds like the money horror network. Still, I wouldn't mind having Comcast right now, just to kill time until THC comes out.

And its 'OnDemand' and free, which makes it about the coolest thing on cable. Glad I got Comcast.

Last I heard the HorrorChannel is dead. I'm looking forward to FearNet. I can't wait to see what they offer and I hope they eventually go HD with it too. On another board I go to, there is a rumor it may actually get a channel too instead of being an onDemand channel.

Will this thing be a permanent fixture of Comcast or just a sneak preview type thing just for halloween?

i'm not sure if the cable channel is dead yet. they do have a video on demand via their website and even offer original series that they've developed. i'm still holding out hope that it will become a cable channel some day because the ideas they were throwing around sound ten times better than what this fearnet thing is offering.

I was excited for The Horror Channel too and I like the idea of original programming. Especially documentaries and behind the scenes making of current and future horror movies.

yeah, they talked up the fact that they were going to get all these horror legends to help create original programming and film-fests and all kinds of treats for hardcore horror fans, then everything went down the crapper and they couldn't get it on the air. fearnet sounds ok, but all it is is hollywood horror, right? i like some hollywood horror, but most of the stuff i like is the really gore-y, independent stuff.

Yes!! channel 166 and it will take you to the FearNet onDemand page.

Love Fearnet. Check out 'Cube 2', Pretty damn good!

fearnets first picture starred pink. alright quit being excited. they play crap ass movies. some of them are ok, i guess it will be good for those late nights... knowing fearnet though, they will sell out and do paid programming....

Yeah, your talking about with 'Catacombs' with Shannyn Sassamon. It was so-so.

anytime someone says all horror there is alot of potential there , i wouild like to see some of the 70's horror . however if its too easily acessible ill take it for granted and not bother to watch it half the time.

as an actual website with articles and stuff shocktillyoudrop.com is far superior, however i avoid both basically, as i dont thirst for strictly horror movies news.... but sometimes....
