It sounds interesting, but Larry Charles returning to network TV seems weird. After Curb, Entourage, and the Sasha Baron Coen movies, you have to wonder if he could handle the limitations.

They could've went to FX or Comedy Central or HBO, so NBC is backing up the money truck. Charles would always be behind the dark Seinfeld episodes and he changed the tone of Mad About You when he became the showrunner. NBC is desperate, hopefully new management goes after the 'cable' type show.

Tapping into that frustrated that their show was canceled audience.

This could have the potential to be very interesting if its done right. I dont see how Larry Charles going back to tv is a hindrence since he handled the stuff on Seinfeld pretty well.

OUR SHOW (A.K.A. UNTITLED LARRY CHARLES PROJECT) (NBC) - Nate Corddry, Jonathan Sadowski, Dan Bakkedahl and P.J. Byrne have all joined the cast of the comedy pilot, about "a disparate group of people who begin making episodes of their favorite sci-fi show after it ends." Corddry and Sadowski will play brothers Mike and Jack, who spearhead the group's efforts. Details on Bakkedahl and Byrne's characters weren't released. Larry Charles is helming the Warner Bros. Television/Wonderland Sound and Vision-based presentation off his own treatment.

Here's hoping the Corddry Brothers both have shows on later in the year.

Thought they would go a bit younger with the group but the cast sounds good. Though they need the token fangirl.

First, turns out Larry stole this show (and forgot to tell McG) and now there is an ugly (about to turn tmz-ish on Larry) and worst part is ... Larry tried to change it enough so he could take credit and KILLED the project. It's posted on youtube under a secret name but be warned it is unwatchable. NBC was pissed he delivered late and that it isn't good and now they are pissed cause he has them and McG being named in legal boo boo as well. To bad cause the idea was just killer.

Here is link to "Our Show" ... original version of show called Star Jumpers that Fox and Sci Fi loved was 10x better then what Charles did to this.
