The Associated Press has published a new article talking about movie sequels. Here are some interesting quotes on Transformers, X-Men and Fantastic Four sequels/spinoffs:

"Transformers," which was based on the `80s toys and animated TV show, has grossed over $223 million in two weeks and seems destined for at least one sequel. Martin Levy, a marketing executive at Dreamworks (which co-produced the movie with Paramount), says: "It's a very logical thing to think that we can look forward to another one."

Feige says another "X-Men" film is possible and that spin-offs for Wolverine and Magneto are in the works. A third "Fantastic Four" following this summer's "Rise of the Silver Surfer" edition is also possible, and Feige says a Silver Surfer stand-alone script has been "moved to the forefront" of discussions.

Uh, it hasn't begun yet :p

(Very interesting avatar, Electrix - loves it )

Should X4 ever happen, I think Gambit would become the main character in the absence of Hugh Jackman.

I knew we'd see another X-Men or different saga of an X-Men film. Here's hoping that X4, Avatar and Spidey 4 comes out in the same year.

Avatar would blow everything away imo

That would be a good yeah though.

I think we will probably get and X-Men 4 or another X-Men movie after the spin-offs. I think FOX will want to see how Wolverine does and see if they can get away with giving him his own trilogy, before another X-Movie goes ahead.

Yes, the Logan movie is a proof from the studio, to see what audience really has Logan, and if the spin-offs are a good route or no. And hopefully for x-men fans, the spin-off won't be a big success, or at least, not as big as the x-men trilogy, and we'll end getting an X4 before the expected.
