Haven't forgotten to feed this thread... Just been real busy.
Here's two outstanding covers that weren't in the FF2 countdown.
Both are by John Byrne, circa 1983:

In honor of the late Mike Wieringo (1963-2007)
Here are his covers for
Fantastic Four Volume 3 #51-54 from 2002
all joined together:

The "100-Page Monster" blurb on the last cover refers to that issue's bonus size. (A reprint of FF Annual #6.)

R.I.P. Mike Wieringo.

That's really cool.....don't remember hearing about those covers.

RIP Mr. Wieringo.
His last published work was Spiderman & the Fantastic Four, a 4-part limited series. It wrapped up last month. Some funny moments between Spidey and Ben and Johnny. Very in-character.
Very nice work, I thought, and well worth seeking out.

Don't know if this is the righr place but i found a new Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer Calander for 2008.

I bought it last night for 11.99 its a 16 month one, its like the last one they had out.

RIP Ringo.

I did not realized those covers were conceptualized as one big puzzle.

What a unique style.

Gone too soon Ringo, well say hi to jack if you run into him for us all.

Well, considering Ringo drew FF #511, where the FF meet "The Creator"...

...I'll bet they're talking shop right now.

:ff:
