I have to disagree, I think Tim got the essence of the 4....missed bad on Doom, and little vision in cinematography, bad editing....but as far as the 4 themselves....i think we got a glimpse in the first movie....
From what I've seen so far, and read in the novelizaiton......IF there is more of a vision, which there seems to be.....AND Hoy doesn't screw up the editing....I believe this has great potential....
..just as i have to disagree with you on this. i think
Story without
question lost the essence and has failed to " evolve "
the FF members but glad that someone is catching on
the Doom mishandling ...
(among other things )
With the FF members, i just don't get into them as interesting enough
characters as i did with Peter Parker, mary Jane, wolverine, professor
xavier, cyclops & jean, etc.
Thus far i just see the self-centered, wreckless/wild-boy character
of
Johnny Storm but nothing beyond that .............
Story seems to have made them
comedy- oriented cornball
without knowing how to mix up romance and strong, impressive
action sequences/special effects manipulation.
And with there only being only slight more interest in FF 2 than the
original and everybody clearly seeing the total limits of Tim Story
i'm truly doubting that many will be flying to see the next superhero
projects of what he has to offer.
he just won't capture the uniqueness of the Fantastic Four and doesnt
have a clue in how to go about doing that.... i can only imagine how
he would totally screw up any potential of Silver Surfer/Galactus film.
The dude is just outta his league when it comes to these type films.
