:ff: this is what it says ...

buzz feels loan grufuds pain. hes trying to marry jessica alba. but its just not happening. the crucial difference here, though, is that gruffud is in character on the set of ff2. 'we attempt to get married several times in the movie', sighs gruffudd,. 'the beginning of the movie is the big wedding ceremony. and just as we're about to say i do the whole world collapses and the ss arrives.

ah, yes. the clue is in the title. ff2's new power player is the reason why everyone is hyped that the sequel will out dazzle the origional. 'this move is proberly three times bigger than the first', says tim story. 'theres the big johnny/surfer chase through new york. theres another sequence where dr doom battles the fantastic four in shanghi. and then we've got an incredable sequence that involves the london eye. it's pretty spectacular...'

ive added this new info from the mag

Hi its me again i've got some for info about ss from the mag (didnt have time to put it on yesterday), Loan Gruffudd talks of how ss is not an enemy or a hero and that there is a much bigger problem they must deal with ...

but he dose say how ss will be their main problem in the film, as ss has energy blasts! to name a few, he says how the ff have no idea how to stop him he it to powerful.

He then carrys on talking about doug and how the ss is created using same technology as what was used to make king kong

hey Empire Mag in the Uk talks of how the SS destroys the london eye and the ff using the fantasticar!

Sounds good to ME.

That indeed sounds great. This movie will be head and shoulders above the 1st. I agree fighting Doom in Shanghai ? Mabey then they fight him in Latveria. Lets hope. Had to find out what the London Eye was. Anyone interested : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Eye. If they are shooting an action sequence there, all I can say is, :woot:

Sweet. For some reason i've always wanted to see an action sequence in the London Eye (and I just learned it's called the London Eye).

Sounds like some cool action:up: the reason they are fighting in Shanghai i guess is b/c SS is dropping those craters in the major countries across the world.this must be the point Doom makes his play for the SS's power so it makes sense.
They shouldn't just add Latveria b/c fans want it,it should make sense in the story

The London eye seems a great location for a battle:woot:

Craters? what? how does and why would one drop craters?

Supposedly he's prepping the planet for Galactus' arrival. Whether this is because Galactus requires them to be in place or because he's trying to show the population the power Galactus has granted his Herald with is uncertain.

I have a mixed reaction on the Shanghai premise- hopefully it turns out very well- and I'm really hoping something exciting happens at the London Eye.

Craters open holes to the magnetic magma that is the core of the earth.

Galactus no doubt dispatches sentinel like bomb machines to bore down into the crust, exploding the dense earth core, releasing the atomic bonding of the core elements and trigering a thermoneuclear holocaust of the kind that can only be imagined by those who wait for the end of the world.

(or something llike that) It is upon this energy that Galactus will feed mortal.

Or he might just be killing off the embryonic Celestial at the core of the planet...

Just three times??? Oh boy, that don't sound good. Only three times. F42 needs to be 20x better then the first.

Lets not get carried away here. It will be tons better then the 1st. They have a writer why is REALLY into the comic. That will make a world of difference in the movie. I don't think Frost had the passion for the comic that Payne seems to have. Payne has brounght a lot of engery, and excitment to the franchise. You can tell by his interviews that he's like a kid with the comic, he has that type of energy. Payne is DEEP into the charactors, unlike Frost.

That's the great thing about this movie that the 1st one lacked. They haven't given too much away. 1st film, you knew it all, even the ending. This one we have been given bits and pieces, but noone has a clue how it will all play out. Fox did an excelent job this time. Sometimes you have to give Fox credit. They have kept us mostly in the dark, and that's the way it should be. Even thou as a fan you want to know more, and as a fan you do not want to know too much.
