i havent heard anyone bring this up, but i bought the mag today at best buy and theres a joker article in it, 2 pages.

the article is sideways so you have to turn the mag, says JOKER in purple letters, then underneath says "fans demanded a darker, more violent, murderous joker in "the dark knight"--now they've got it, and punk-goth clowns never looked better"

then its a goodsize 2 page pic of the joker sitting down in jail(same from empire mags reveal) with 7 boxes of text surround it...

    "Rags to Riches"
"Director Christopher Nolan didn't want him to have a brand new costume made" says TDK costume designer Lindy Hemming. "i started getting pieces together and we made up a look, but always keeping them in various shades of purple. There are like 25 of these coats, all different stages of breaking down because of the things happening to the Joker."

theres 6 more paragraphs abot that long about the joker, mostly his look...but i dunno if this has been seen before, they have 25 coats for joker because of him going through diff things....meaning hes getting messed up, or is extremely busy the entire movie. im thinking he turns on the mob and the mob, and batman are both after him but joker allows the cops to catch him so he has some form of protection, then he gets out somehow. and starts goin on the offensive.

Well considering most people dont have the money to buy a mag for one small article, I have collected all of the mags with Heath on the cover as Joker and the Total Film with the poster, but if It has one article its not worth it to me. Id rather eat and read the article online.

Lindy Hemming is a genius. The Joker costume rocks. Feels wrong to even call it a costume because it really does look like that's what the Joker wears from day to day, like he's just compiled this look over the years.

Jack Nicholson wore COSTUMES and they were really good for the look of the film, but this is something else entirely. Completely believable and fitting for a difficult character to dress believably. She deserves an Oscar for her work, really.
