Another good win for Russia, always good when the hosts progress out the groups, scoring plenty as well. Egypt struggled with the pressure and that home crowd sort of willed Russia on, a sloppy first goal to give away and that gave the Russians belief and they scored a couple of really good goals after that. Russia and Uruguay have been the two best teams in this group and both should progress now.

Caught the last 40 mins of the game. Amrabat & Ziyech were outstanding. Both played really well but Amrabat especially ran circles around opposition players. Portugal were lucky that Morocco didn't have an effective focal point up top. A few good chances in the Portuguese penalty box fell to Mehdi Benatia and at-least one would have got in had it been a decent striker instead of him. Portugal rode their luck in there.
