The Dark Knight Filming Two Movies at Once?

I wish, that would be awesome, it would be that much quicker we could see the third movie

If this was happening you'd know. There are so many reasons why you'd know, but mainly because I don't think they'd keep it a secret.

This rumor ALWAYS starts with the filming of a second franchise film. Didn't this rumor happen with Spider-Man 2? It happened with Spider-Man 3 for sure. Happened with Star Wars Episode II.

I have seen this happen SOOOOOOOOO many times that all I do is laugh when I see it.

Also, as others have said... filming isn't going to be long enough for two movies.

So, definitely not.

Technically it did happen with Episode II...to a point.

Lucas filmed the background plates for the final scene of Episode III during the shooting for Episode II since he wouldn't be returning to Tunisia for Episode III.

Just your random trivia that'll most likely get me beaten to a pulp ;)

LOL. I knew that too, just didn't mention it. ;)

I'm quite sure he filmed the stuff with Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse, too (Owen and Beru) so he wouldn't have to trouble them again. Rumor had it the long shot of Obi-Wan handing them baby Luke was done with someone (Nash Edgerton, perhaps, Ewan's stunt double) standing in as Obi-Wan. So all he really had to do for Episode III was film the closeups of Ewan on a greenscreen and drop Tunisia in behind him. :o

But still, that's one scene. It's not like it was the whole friggin' movie.

I think it's not out of the picture. The principal filming for Ironman started in March and just wrapped up. The filming for TDK started a bit earlier and has continued.
