I am definitely concerned about the lack of "foreplay" with this one. Though JL has the bigger names, the Avengers template of solo features first built up anticipation and provided fans an understanding of the personalities and motivations of the main characters. I think WB would be better served by taking their time with a few additional solo features (MOS2, Batflek 1, Wonder Woman, B vs S), but we shall see.

How do I feel? I worry. I think Snyder's not the right choice at all, but it may be the only one they got right now. I also think they are doing it too fast, just to catch up with Marvel who planned all this carefully, taking the *****ing time to develop their characters first. I think having Batman in the second MoS is clearly a wrong choice. Let's develop Batman alone, and Superman with other heroes, because, you know, he is not cool enough to have his own films.
That (since the 90es at least) and clearly, MoS was not a Superman movie I enjoyed. Some cool things on the Man of Steel side but not enough on the Superman side. I'm not hyped at all for this event. I was expecting this since a long time, but I won't hold my breathe for one second for this movie.

I love this. I mean, I´ve been expecting a JL movie since WW was announced but to have it official really makes me feel better. Batman has been overexposed but he is a key element so going with a weary older Batman is pretty good. It will make sense he is experinced and good at making decisions. It will also give MoS, WW, Cyborg and other charachters who hasn´t been over exposed in media, more time.

I really hope they keep up their serious tone and relatively realistic universe so that heroes doesn´t look like something taken directly out of a comic book but I´d like more humor and less product placements. Seriously, that sucked.

I've been waiting for the day (although was never totally confident that it would actually happen) when X-Men, Avengers, JL & Star Wars films are in regular production with a chance at becoming permanent ongoing projects coming out every 3 years or so and we are unbelievably close to that now.

I have mixed feelings. I've been a fan of the JL for over thirty years, but I have reservations about Warner Bumbles being in charge of it. If Supes vs Bats doesn't make enough money and/or the movie gets poor reviews, the JL movie might not materialize.

The film should make money because of star power, and the fact that you have two of the most popular comic book film franchises combined as a big sensation. With that being said, critical reviews may still have a significant impact on the film. For this reason, it is up to the producers and the marketing department to manage this and do damage control if they suspect that this film will get negative reviews (the damage control would be to forgo initial screenings for critics or only invite critics who are friendly to the studio or the franchise). If negative reviews turn out to be unavoidable, then the studio will have to leverage their star power (Ben Affleck, Henry Cavil, Amy Adams, Lawrence Fishburne, et. al.) to numb the effects by making appearances in the media. I have read where even withholding press kits may give a studio an extra week or two without a bad review. I harp on this because the studio should have done the same for Man of Steel. Even though it turned out to be a box office success, the negative reviews did not help the film at all (in fact it has left a bad stigma in the minds of some).

After reading the amazing reviews X-men DOFP movie is getting, I'm worried that Justice League will have to do better than that (and Avenger) both in terms of critical reception and commercial reception, the bar is set very high.

WB must deliver, sadly I don't think that Snyder is the man who will accomplish that task.

About time. Batman and Superman have been carrying the DC onscreen universe for too long. There's no reason not to do this, the JL is an assemblage
of DC's absolute finest in terms of characters, so why not.

If people can sit through the relatively corny Avengers, then no doubt a JL
film is more than doable.

I have a lot of faith in Sndyer, looking forward to it.

Just hoping they cast Flash, GL, Aquaman and Martian Manhunter properly.
