Neither did Zodiac, but it was claimed as one of the best movies so far (talking about 2007).

but it sounds like the book 'the confessions of max tivoli', by andrew sean green (my favorite book) only in that book, the man is born old, and grows young, falling i love with a woman first as a father figure, then some years later as a lover, then before he dies, as her son... it's very touching. they should make a that movie, this premise just doesn't sound as good to me.

Probably, but I really doubt it will get even nomination considering latest Oscar favourites like Babel, Little Miss Sunshine, Juno and etc. I mean the academy changed their taste.

Trailer probably won't be out for a bit.

I think this could definately get some nominations. The cast is pretty good. Plus with Fincher being involved it's almost certianly got a chance to score something in the Cinematography category.

Having not seen any footage I can't make a definitive judgement, but I would think since its Fincher it should get some award recognition.

Who knows they may suprise us, the budget on the film is huge so they might want to get some early buzz going. A couple of other boards suggested 4-5 months before release for a trailer.

There doing some pretty groundbreaking stuff on this film so im anxiously awaiting.

Nah, Kaufman would have never wrote even 50% book adaptation. And although, the idea does really seem to be intersting, it would have never been Kaufman-esque, because Charlie is used to make super-confused script out of simple stuff.

Thought I'd bump with rumors that a trailer will be with Indy..... lets hope.

Trailer is attached to prints of Indy.....someone who saw it:
Saw a pre screening of Indiana Jones and WOW...

the trailer is minimal on narration...in fact non at all

It shows, without revealing too much, the jist of this film.

The graphics are amazing, as the trailer is a mini short as we see each of the characters transformations in a very quick manner. The trailers emphasis is obviously on Brad, as we see him transform into a younger man.


The trailer ends with something like

A: "You are so young.."

B:"Only on the outside.."

All in all, in showed what we all expect from this movie.

Alot of romance, looked like some very sad and funny moments as well.

Great trailer! Finch rarely lets his audiences down...

The trailer with Indy 4 was definitely an eye-opener for me. I'm usually on top of these sorts of things, but this movie and this movie trailer caught me totally by surprise. I totally forgot.

Yeah, it is. It definitely caught the attention of everyone in the theater, which surprised me considering it was sandwiched between the trailers for some of the summer's biggest blockbusters.
