George Clooney I think was one of the guys who have punched him before.

But hey, it's David Fincher, he's earned his arrogance :D .

Clooney knocked out David O Russell.....never heard about Fincher. If so he's quick to the punch :)

I see aruments are growing between Paramount staff and Fincher, and it's really difficult to determine who's right and who's wrong.

I just hope Fincher doesn't try too hard to make this film suitable for the academy and to just get the award. If it is so, then he is a real bastard. But if the guy just wants to make the best film of the year and doesn't care whether it will win or lose the award, then he is making masterpiece and people just don't get this.

Don't forget that it always happens, and one of the best examples of such attitude was with Cameron and Fox. And as we know today, Cameron knew what he was doing. However, there are still many instants, when studios actually win.

They should just give Pitt his Oscar, the guy has been fighting for it for years and he deserved one at least for Fight Club and AOJJ.

I'm seeing more tv spots and it just looks beautiful.

And about Fincher, the studio execs are most likely exagerating. It was probably playful and sarcastic. These rich snobby execs take things out of hand.

Im TOO excited for this film.

Did anyone else see the tv spot that had the Arcade Fire's "My Body is a Cage" song stuck to it? I love that song.:woot:

Clooney punching Russell was what I was referring to, sorry i was not more clear.

The movie's getting pretty positive reviews overall. Newsweek seemed to have the most well, how to say it, evenhanded I guess. They didn't overly gush over it and they presented some thought out valid, criticisms.

The feeling I'm getting though from the really gushy stuff and the more positive reviews is that this is basically a darker Forrest Gump. It seems the main romantic pairing evolves in a very similar fashion to Forrest Gump and Jenny.

I saw a sneak preview of this film already and i have to say that the cgi is incredible but this film is just way too long. Its a 2:45 minute film.

If you cut out the scenes
when benjamin has an affair with a married women, the beginning and end that involved a blind mans clock that went in reverse, and some of the scenes involving the old woman and her daughter in the hospital
then you would have a perfect film unfortunatly those scenes are still in the film and it just makes it drag on and on. I left the theater feeling indifferent about the film bcause part of me enjoyed it and part of me just wanted it to end

This film is no Titanic, it doesn't deserve an Oscar for best picture. Brad Pitt could win best actor though, his performance was phenominal

Um, interesting. At this point I think any film can win best picture now.

I am not sure if this is old news and i apologise if it is but the website has updated and it is brilliant.

Well, I'm sure people don't want to stare at a old baby with a wrinkly old ass crack staring back at them.

But the other posters don't really tell you anything about the film except "OMGTEHBRADISINIT!!!1!!". This poster actually alludes to the plot and has a very good focal point of interest. If I were walking through a movie theatre and I saw this it would definitely stop me dead in my tracks, unlike the rather underwhelming ones they released.

True. But I think the only thing that would stop people would be "Hey look at that old wrinkly baby with it's crack hanging out."

I'm interested in it though. I really want to see it.

The image in discussion appeared in Variety. So they did use it.

I saw the movie, and I generally really liked it. It feels long, but I don't think I would've cut anything out.
