After a second viewing, there is one that stood out the most...

When Wolverine is examing Jean Grey, you can see a huge DELL logo on the monitor.

This is one that I would need to watch again in slo-mo to see if I missed something, but I noticed the cars on the Golden Gate Bridge are mostly new. I'd be willing to bet that most of the cars in Magneto's initial path (the ones that are shown the best) are from one manufacturer.

Anyone else spot the "hidden" advertisements?

They are not really that 'hidden' ... seeing as Dell had a big thing on their site for that 7 minute preview. Mercedes had something on their site for a tie-in and so did Harley Davidson.... so think this is a moot point

I saw the Dell the first time I saw the movie.

Okay, now imagine you're not a nerd who knows the exacts minute and seconds of every company that signed an endorsement deal with this movie. What did you see?

Can I reply to that with a big 'let's not go there'? It's always about the fightin'.

"We shall go on to the end, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender."

Paraphrased from Winston Churchill. :D

I guess there's the obvious magazine that Beast is reading..

Dell, Xbox 360 wasn't the game call of duty. At the end of the credits it mention that game so i guess it was that. The bike Cyke used whatever it was lol. Thats all i know.

Does the Fox News one count as an advertisement?:o

Leech was playing Call of Duty 2 on his Xbox 360 in his room when Beast came to visit him.

What game were those kids playing the car/van/SUV?

Yeah? I was also wondering that.

Nice avatar.^
That scene was great. That part was great.
I kind of thought Wolverine would get the first hit but Juggernaut did. That thud was loud too! A few people around the theater said "OH!" when it happened lol.

I'm not sure if this is an ad or a coincidence, but when bobby gets his colse-up on the x-jet, the chair he's sitting on is marked 'PS3'. sony ad, maybe?

no

Was it COD 2? I thought it looked more like Kameo...

PS3 is Passenger Seat 3.

I agree with whoever said the initial poster was making a moot point. There's nothing "hidden" about advertisements in movies. They're discreetly placed in scenes where it makes sense for the product to be in. It's called product placement :o

lol...I wonder why they decided not to do another take...Surely they saw that on his coat when they filmed the scene..

Maybe so that geeks like us will pick at it. :p

Hey, I loved that bug! It's a prime example of studio lazyness. They didn't have to do another take. Couldn't they have just erased it digitally?
Obviously they couldn't.
Cause they be lazy bastards. :)

my god, these boards are really strange sometimes.

why would you bother to remove a bug from someone's coat, digitally or otherwise? why would you reshoot the scene because of the presence of an insect?! he's outside. there are insects outside. it's not that unlikely that he might encounter one. it's not like it's a film set in ancient rome and a 747 can be seen in the background.
