What Was Your Favourite Scenes From XMTLS?!

1. Jean/Xavier mental battle; It was one of my favourite scenes, definitely. Jean looking up, all black-eyed and veiny, at Xavier in the air, Xavier's skin burning away, Magneto yelling out, "JEAN!", to stop her from killing his best friend (just hearing Ian McKellen acting that out was saddening -- props to Ian), Jean rising her arms and the slow-mo -- just perfect.

Famke, Ian and Patrick were the highlights of this scene, IMO. The special effects and the score helped it A LOT.

2. Magneto crushing and throwing the government cars; I loved the zooming-in onto Magneto's face as he raises his brow. After seeing that, I kept doing the hand dances ever since, lol.

3. The climax; I actually thought, for a moment there, that it was going to be over after Beast and Wolverine teamed up to inject the cure needles into Magneto. Thankfully, no, it wasn't the end.

Soldiers came and fired the cure at the X-Men and Jean, provoking her to demolecularize everything -- Even though there weren't any Phoenix flames, I did like the whole demolecularization, just goes to show how powerful she really is.

4. The Golden Gate bridge; It's a shame that the scene was a bit short. I loved ths special effects and the music. Magneto flying was just icing on the cake.

So...that's my top 4. What says you?

Not big. It didn't feel epic and like a war. And no, it definitely doesn't rank with Helms Deep or the Minas Tirith battle.

1.- I really liked the battle at Jean's house. it was amazing

2.- Mystique's interrogation scene was cool too. I liked it, very angry raven there "...Homo sapien!! "

3.- Quills killing Rao was friggin cool too, I like that whole sequence, specially when psylocke suddenly appears from the wall "...going somewhere??" kewl ^___^

also the final battle and Magneto messing with the cars.

Anyways, back on topic. I'm very excited and eager to see the Jean vs. Xavier mental conflict, the final battle, and of course, the Beast in action kicking ass and taking names.

comic-book fan?... -laughs- ... I've heard of Spider-man, Super Man, X-Men, Batman, all those other ones like the hulk, Fantastic 4... Im not much of a comic-book reader myself. I've watched all the cartoon shows...


the only movies out of the comic-books i've seen are Batman (all of them), Spider man, Superman and of course X-Men.

Jean vs. Xavier is good especailly when SPOILER : SHe begins to dissvolve his skin and than time stops adn he's like dont let it control u, than bam he is hit byglass and explodes

Magneto was even trying to persuade her not to. Jean and Wlverine's sadness was done very well. Best part of the movie.

Wolvie killing Jean Grey. It was really the only scene in the movie other than Prof. X's death that had a powerfull emotion punch on me.
