Find the Jar-Jar in a Movie

I remember seeing that character before but I couldn't pin point where. The show was before my time but I remember I had very vague memories watching it at my uncles house for whatever reason. Then it got lost in my subconsciousness.

And when I figured out that it was from Buck Rogers, I freaked out; all these years of searching!

LOL. Well I am glad me being an old f**t helped to solve this life long riddle in some form or another.

I'm sure a lot of people have those types of lost memories. Like watching a random movie or show as kids and forgetting what it was, and then freaking out when they discover what the title was! #fart

I know exactly what you mean. I have a similar memory of a show/movie but still havent made the connection. Very frustrating.

Not sure if it's been said yet, but that stupid cartoon alien thing in Lost in Space was so lame. The whole movie was awful but that turned it into Mac & Me in a spaceship.

Also, I have to second whoever said Apocalypse in the new X-Men film. He just... sucked. There was nothing to him. He was just all powerful and evil. Such a disappointment. Singer made one of the best comic book villains of all time boring and lame. His makeup looked really cheesy too.

The shark in Jaws 3 & 4.
What a total destruction of a franchise.
It Never recovered.

Tony Stark in civil war

This is the third time when you put down something that's overly broad. I don't think you know what a 'Jar-Jar' type character is from the looks of it.

In your last post, you put down most if not ALL of the characters in The Force Awakens, then Spider-Man in Civil War...and now Tony Stark (Downey who did his best performance as Stark, dramatically).

I am sure most will attack me for saying this but...Agent Coulson.

Not because I personally hated him, but I did hate the way his character was handled.

He was a nice part of the Marvel film universe and they banished him to TV land never to be heard of again.

Faster - The assassin character. He was really annoying and you could almost completely remove him from the movie and it wouldn't really affect the main story. In fact, it would make the movie better because it would keep the focus on the Rock and Billy Bob.

Terminator Genisys
- It's tough to single out just ONE character in this movie who was the most annoying or useless; pretty much everyone is either awful, bland or (at best) simply miscast. So I think I'll have to go with Evil John Connor. The whole idea of Connor being fused with a Terminator and sent back in time to kill his mom is just stupid to begin with, and it's handled even WORSE than you would think possible, with JC just being annoying as sh** with his little quips and smug grin.

Never saw Pirates 4. I was so bored out of my mind with Pirates 3 that I vowed never to watch another one. Speaking of which, I don't know if I'd say Pirates 3 had a Jar-Jar character, but it had a Jar-Jar scene... the one with multiple Jack Sparrows. My God, that was painful to watch.

If Pirates 3 wasn't to your liking, you'd definitely hate Pirates 4, and I say that as someone who loved the third (but cringed at the multiple Jacks scene).

Darcy or Jane from the Thor movies
Willie from Indiana Jones and the temple of doom
Shia parents in the transformers films
Zoolander kid in zoolander 2
Joey from Shane

Yeah, that's what I figured. I remember thinking initially that I might give it a shot because at least Orlando Bloom wasn't around to suck the life out of the movie, but then I heard nothing but bad things about it so I never bothered.

Also, thought of another one. Annoying mullet boomerang boy from The Road Warrior. That kid annoyed the sh** out of me.

Also, Jason in Superman Returns.

Actually, the hell with it... Every kid in every movie ever is a Jar-Jar except for The Goonies, Stand By Me and ET.

Even *GULP* Brody's kids from Jaws?

Yeah, it's taken on a pretty nebulous definition here, everything from - the classic sidekick intended to be "funny" but really annoying follows a main hero everywhere, to pretty much - anything/anyone I find annoying in a movie.
Which yeah, can make the intended namesake reference pretty meaningless.
