Five tips to movies that are actually scary

The psychological scare will always win out over the physical torture scare. If a dude with surgical tools is coming at me, I at least know I have a shot at outsmarting or physically beating his ass. If there's something in the back of my mind that I think I see but isn't there, that's what will keep you up nights.

Well really that's to make you think "OMG! he is still out there! i could be next!"

it's in every horror movie! nearly every one. whenever it goes back to a dark and creepy place....the whole audience is like...yup i knew it...he is still alive....

i mean...if you are gonna keep him alive....make it interesting, or unpredictable in a way...like they all look happy and they are alive, and they think they survived everything...then bam! he jumps out...just like in friday the 13th! that was amazing:wow:

one thing that always bothered me was that when the villain ends up winning at the end ( ex. the omen) no one likes that movie. everyone hates those kinds of endings, yet they still put them in there. when something bad happens at the end that lets the audience know that the killer is still alive is just not what the audience wants.

I like movies that end on a down note.

John Carpenter's The Thing is a great ending, as is In The Mouth of Madness.

If you want a happy ending, read a ****ing fairy tale
